It might be me, but for £250 a night I would rather pay for a basic tent and stay there with my friends on a special occasion, then all brushed up and shiny place where all the hosts seem like they hate every minute of their day with zero hospitality manners. With all the respect for Angel who was running up and down. We did have a great time because we made it great but I wouldn't go back there as the complex is right next to pretty busy road too and huge pile of rubbish was not far from the yurt.

A little smile would help

Wife and I took a short midweek break and went to Woodside. The owners are are very welcoming and accomidating. Really glad we made the 2hour journey. It's next to Battle so lots of cafes and restaurants nearby. Would recommend to anyone wanting to sit back and chill out.

Relaxing experience

I recently went to Woodside with a group of friends for my birthday and had an incredible time. The yurts we had booked (Cat and Zebra) were spacious, clean, comfy and completely kitted out with everything you could need/want including slippers, eye masks and ear plugs. We had a great outdoor space to chill and cook in which was perfect. I recommend doing the cocktail class, a lot of fun and well worth the money. Amanda and her family were so lovely and such wonderful hosts, I genuinely cannot thank them enough for making our trip so fun and easy. I'd also say that it is great because of the location to great sites nearby, including Rye and Camber Sands beach.

Amazing Mini Break

We stayed in the Crazy Cat and Zealous Zebras yurts which were impeccably clean (with a very effective heater). Angel and Jade who run the site, are amazing! They work tirelessly ensuring the site is clean and all the guests are catered for to a high standard. Then there was the afternoon tea...... outstanding!!! Sandwiches and cakes were freshly homemade and more than enough for the 6 of us in our party. My children loved the fire pit with magical flames and playing games in the large field. Everyone had a brilliant time and we’d love to return soon.

Awesome afternoon teas!

We have just returned from a lovely 48hr stay at Woodside. On arrival we were met by the lovely Angel who ran through everything we needed to know to help us have a wonderful stay. One thing that was very clear from the outset was that nothing was too much trouble and that was abundantly clear from the attention to detail given by Angel and her sister Jade. The themed Yurt we had was very clean and comfortable and very well equipped. Thank you for having us.

Family Getaway

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Woodside Spa And Glamping! 

Me and 3 other friends booked this for my friends birthday and it did not disappoint!

On arrival we were introduced to Jade who made us feel very welcome and friendly. She showed us around and told us everything we needed to know. Also reassured us that if there was anything that we needed or there was a problem to let her know. 

The yurts that we stayed in were spacious, clean, tidy and very colourful. We stayed in the zebra and cat themed yurts which were close together but still had a lot of privacy in both. The beds were extremely comfortable and had a heated blanket and heater next to it which was welcoming as the weather wasn’t the warmest! The yurts heated up very quickly so once we were inside it was lovely and warm! 

Me and my friend both had a facial and Indian head massage from Angel which was incredible. It was my first ever massage and I cannot wait to have another one! The facial was also amazing and definitely needed! 

We had a cocktail making class that was run by Jade and was brilliant! We all watched and then made our own yummy cocktails - it was a great laugh and even better that Jade again made us feel welcome and was having a laugh with us. The cocktails were delicious and super easy to make, I’m excited to try making some of my own at home! 

We also had pizza that was made by Jade and Angel which was delicious. There was a selection of pizzas that we had followed with some garlic bread, salad and coleslaw. There was a lot of food which was brilliant and it all tasted amazing! 

Overall I couldn’t fault it at all. For our first glamping experience it was just the best! I cannot wait to come back again and enjoy another brilliant run and welcoming weekend again! 

A special thanks to Jade and Angel who were just amazing all weekend and was so friendly! We had the best weekend and it was all thanks to Jade, Angel and their mum and dad! Thank-you again for a great great weekend!

Friends Birthday Weekend

What a lovely weekend! We booked this site in celebration of my birthday and we were thoroughly impressed with everything! The cupcakes on arrival were a lovely touch and not expected! The staff were absolutely brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and they were all very hospitable during our stay! My friend and I had treatments which were amazing and we were very relaxed afterwards! We had also booked a cocktail party and pizza which we all thoroughly enjoyed. All in all a brilliant weekend, it’s a shame it went so quickly!

Brilliant Weekend

I organised a hen week end for my best friend who was getting married and i cannot compliment enough this place.
Amanda was super helpful and contributed for my friend and her hens to have a fantastic week end, which we will fondly remember. the equipment is good, the beds comfy and the site is adapted for this type of event. I have also booked a hot stones massage for her, which she really enjoyed.on the practical side: i have informed the guests to bring portable batteries for the phone as we could not use the plug in the tent for obvious safety reasons

Amazing venue

On arrival, my initial reaction was disappointment,as arranged for a special occasion and the site  didnt look as good as i was expecting. Didnt want to ruin the weekend for everyone else so just made the best of it. We enjoyed just getting away from it all, relaxing. together. The site is too close to the main road so constant traffic noise, which is not too bad in the daytime but at night its more of a problem, although they do provide ear plugs and eye masks.Site loked like it needed TLC. From the beginning of the season until the very end the standard should be the same, it was not a cheap weekend break.
Young girl on arrival was very nice, Yurt was clean and tidy. Could have done with a mat as decking very slippery when wet. When it rained the cooking station got absolutely soaked and the rain was pouring on to the stove and the food we were trying to cook.
Showers and kitchen area in the field need to be upgraded. Hot Tub is in the basement of the house, which didnt make it very relaxing.    However the beauty treatments were very good., and the cupcakes were very tasty.

Weekend Glamping

Just got home from a brilliant weekend here. The hot tub and cocktail making was so much fun and the staff were so lovely and friendly. We had everything provided. Thank you for having us! From the doughnut gang!
