Impeccably clean eg. not a mark on the walls, very comfortable, breakfast is very good with fresh fruit and yogurt before your choices of full English or croissants and toast, family run by very nice people with plenty of information if needed, sweets in the well made up room after you come back to your room from touring.  Everything about this place is of a very high quality.  We were very well pleased after staying there for 10 nights and it is unbelievable value for the money.  There is a very nice conservatory off the dining area to relax plus we had a king size bed and two views of the bay from our window.

Excellent all around

Beautifully decorated family-run B&B that is ideally situated for exploring the town of St. Ives and the local area. As with most of the guest houses in the town, it’s a steep climb up the hill but taxis are plentiful and are recommended for travellers arriving with heavy bags by train. All facilities are of the highest quality. Breakfast is delicious, with the generous serving of fruit salad proving especially popular with guests. The double bed in Room 3 is a little short and the en suite a bit cramped for taller people. However, with a lovely garden, conservatory and parking, you will struggle to find a better-run B&B in St. Ives, which is why do many guests come back year after year.

Fantastic modern rooms with amazing comforts from lovely fresh bedding and towels. 
These hosts deserve five stars and they have gone the extra mile to make our stay totally amazing.. Breakfast was amazing and the fruit salad and Greek yoghurt that Margaret makes with such passion every morning is to die for..
Absolutely no Covid price hikes here but if they did it would be totally worth every penny.

Truly amazing with all you'll need..

Just returned home from a week staying at the Glanmor. What can I say about this B&B. The room was always spotless and maintained everyday, the size of the room was very spacious, breakfast was really nice, with a good selection to choose from. The B&B is in the perfect location with the shops and beaches just a short walk away. Thank you to Margaret for being so kind and helpful, and to Amy for being so welcoming and friendly at breakfast. Thank you Glanmor for making our stay a pleasant one.

Wonderful hidden gem! Margaret & family’s attention to detail is impeccable. The breakfast was delicious, rooms are clean and well kept! The location is ideal being walking distance to shops/beaches! Look no further as this is the bed and breakfast for u!!

The Hidden Gem of St Ives!

If you are looking for a guest house in St Ives you won't beat this. We booked really late and got a double room with en suite and a balcony with a sea view, how lucky were we. The room and the whole place was spotlessly clean. We had the most amazing breakfast every morning and it was all freshly cooked. The owners and their family were all really friendly and very helpful and couldn't do enough for you.  We got chatting to another couple that have been going there for  14 years and I can totally see why they keep going back.  I would totally recommend this place if you are looking for reasonable prices too, no price hikes here due to covid!!!! We felt safe and cared for. We would definitely return if we were visit St Ives again.

Margaret, Den and Paul run the perfect guest house.
Friendly, helpful, super clean light and airy rooms.
Easy walk down into St Ives either to Portminster beach, the top end of town or steps down to come out behind the cinema. you can choose the route.
Breakfast is excellent and a great choice.
Free parking
And did I say super clean rooms and a very friendly family.
The fact that we have stayed here many times over 25 years says it all.
Unfortunately you can only give 5 stars as there is a 5+ option.

Wonderful family run B&B

We have just recently spent a week at this very friendly, spotless guest house.  COVID rules were adhered to.
Very aspect of our stay was excellent, the family are very welcoming and experienced hosts.   Our bedroom was specious and comfortable, well ventilated with 3 windows, tea, coffee and biscuits were provided daily.
This is a quiet location with no noise outside at night which helped us to sleep well throughout our stay.
Breakfast selection was plentiful and good quality, the fruit salad especially was a must!
We would definitely recommend this guest house.

We really enjoyed our September stay here for a week. A lovely house, kept clean and tidy at all times.
We had the double room with a balcony and en suite, which although a small room and bathroom was perfect for us.
The breakfast - OMG we both agree it's the best cooked breakfast we have ever experienced! The quality of the food is outstanding, and as you can order exactly what you want the night before using a printed tick menu, there's as much food as you want.

I've seen the 1 and 2 star reviews for Glanmor, and after visiting I can only assume they were left by people with an agenda, or proper morons.

Love Glanmor, will definitely return :)

A proper gem

Stopped for a week in early July, rooms spotless & very well decorated. Common areas lovely and a nice garden to sit & relax. Breakfast is timed so need to be punctual as well as ensuring you place your order the night before. Owners were helpful & very friendly. Car park space can be a little difficult at times and our "small double" had a very small en-suite area. Other than that would heartily recommend.
