St. Andrews

We were a family of four adults and two little ones and this Lodge ( number 4) met, and in fact exceeded all our needs and expectations. It was spacious, had three beautifully appointed bedrooms, all en suite, a huge kitchen equipped to the highest standard and a beautiful lounge with far reaching views over the fields. Perhaps the most important thing was the standard of cleanliness, it was immaculate ! The owner Anne is a lovely lady, so welcoming and on hand should you need anything.  I doubt you will need anything as Anne has thought of everything in equipping these lodges. We had a fabulous four night stay, despite the weather at times conspiring against us, and will most definitely return . The proximity of St Andrews is a bonus and yet you feel you are right in the countryside here. The wee ones were thrilled to see a hares, buzzards and other wildlife literally on the doorstep.

If you are browsing lodges, cottages etc around St Andrews, look no further, these lodges are pretty much perfect in every respect. Just book it!

A Fabulous Family Break

Amazing lodge.we stayed in lodge one, it had everything we could need even dishwasher tablets, kitchen foil and washing up liquid.bed was amazingly comfy and the whole place was spotlessly clean.plenty cutlery and crockery to make easy use of the dishwasher there.even kitchen scales, best equipped lodge we've stayed in comfy and cosy.easy to get to, nearest co-op is Ceres 5mins drive away and great for at Andrews and easy nuek of fife.can recommend crail pottery.Really quiet and bright with all the natural daylight with all the windows.lovely in the winter when your going to work and coming home in the dark.great for a relaxing week.we had an amazing holiday and that was with 2storms with one a red warning but so cosy inside.would highly recommend, we'll definitely be back.

Relaxing holiday, great place

We loved our Xmas & New year stay in Lodge 6 at Elderburn lodges. We found it very clean, warm & comfortable with very good furniture. The Lodge was superbly equipped, whatever you needed was at hand & in good condition. Parking was good, & the handful of lodges were well spaced out. Being barely 10 minutes from St Andrews meant that shopping was easy. The M&S food store & Morrison's adequately served our needs. It was great to meet Anne, she made booking & payment very easy. It was all so simple. A big bonus was that by booking direct we didn't have to pay the booking fee charged by the "Big" agencies. All in all, everything exceeded our expectations.

Luxurious Lodge near St. Andrews

We have just returned from these beautiful lodges, we were a party of 3 couples who spent 4 nights over New Year at the lodge and had a great time. The lodge (actually more of a house than lodge) was very spacious and had all the amenities you need, lovely view from the living room and spacious kitchen with room for us all round the large table. All of the rooms were ensuite with comfy beds and lovely linen, we were lucky enough to have the master suite which was very nice with a shower and lovely views.
 The lodge is only just over 5 minutes from St Andrews in the car and we had a great time walking the beach and the shops. We visited Craigtoun Park, Cupar and Anstruther (lovely fish and chips) during our stay. We were lucky enough to see a stoat and a kestrel during our stay and walked to the top of the cragg you can see from the windows. 
All in all we loved our time at Elderburn lodges and would definitely recommend staying here.

Fabulous stay at Elderburn Lodges

Home from home. This is our third visit to The Elderburn Lodges. We stayed in Lodge 4. It’s perfect for us. We love the Lodge, it has everything we need. The rooms are spacious, we love looking at the fabulous views. It’s peaceful and tranquil, all you need for a great relaxing trip away. We are looking at dates to come back again next year. St Andrews is just ok your doorstep so what’s not too like?

Have stayed at Elderburn Lodges numerous times and we have never been disappointed, all lodges have everything you could possibly need and Anne makes you feel so welcome. The lodges are furnished to a very high standard. Perfect location for visiting St. Andrews.

Fantastic break in Accessible Lodge 

I stayed here with friends and family after my daughter’s wedding. It was the perfect location in terms of luxury - and I mean luxury! - accommodation. 
Anne is an excellent host - nothing was too much trouble for her. Our stay there was the icing on the (wedding) cake for my daughter and her husband. I would have no hesitation recommending Elderburn Lodges. 

Post-wedding perfection!

We have just spent a week in the beautiful lodge two at Elderburn Lodges. I cannot recommend this accommodation enough. I spent the week here with my husband & two year old daughter, we all slept so comfortably and enjoyed our stay so much. The lodge was very clean & comfortable & provided everything we needed. The location was also amazing, St Andrews was very close by yet the setting felt very remote and peaceful. My husband and daughter went for several bike rides from the lodge & loved seeing the many horses near by. Anne was a fabulous host, we felt very well looked after & can't wait to return one day soon! 

The wonderful Elderburn Lodges

I recently stayed at Lodge 1 and thoroughly enjoyed the break.  The lodge was spotless and spacious and has beautiful views across the countryside.  Anne has thought of everything to be included in the lodge.  The lodges are just a short drive to St. Andrews and there are many places to visit along the Fife coast.  I would definitely recommend these lodges and I would love to return to them soon.  

Luxury break!

Another lovely break at Elderburn Lodges. The lodges are furnished to a very  high  standard. It is so peaceful and quiet. It is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the surrounding countryside. With St Andrews a short drive away, it is an ideal base to explore the East Neuk of Fife.
