What a wonderful welcome, the owner Jackie was so welcoming nothing was to much trouble. We went for the festival she even gave us bottled water. The room was very nice and local for the beach if you wanted it. We will definitely be going back.

The Heatherleigh

We stayed here and had a fantastic holiday, Jackie and her staff are very pleasant, they are very covid conscious, which is never a bad thing, 
Breakfast was spot on, the rooms are very tidy, exactly what you would expect from a b & b .
We loved that the front door key had been replaced with a electronic key pad, perfect for the beach trips and even going out for walks, it meant we didn't have to take lots of keys with us.

Overall this is definitely one of the better places in shanklin

Every member of staff we came across were so accommodating and kind! Could not ask for anything better!
WILL BE RETURNING NEXT YEAR! So family friendly as well for any of those who like to go out and about, very knowledgeable about the island as well so was very helpful with knowing things to do!

Lovely B&B - Highly recommend

I was well pleased with the studio flat with a kitchen well equipped for self-catering. It's north facing, but when the sun is shining, I could sit on the little deck for morning and evening sun, and there's a small west-facing garden as well. No problem with parking, and the shops, the beach, the railway station and bus stops are a short walk away. Jackie was very welcoming and made sure that I was happy with everything. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the unpredictable British weather!

Well equipped studio flat

We booked into the Heatherleigh for three nights in early August. 

The accommodation was immaculate and we were made most welcome by Jackie on arrival and during our stay. She had put a lot of work into making the B&B as COVID-19 secure as possible, with sensible precautions like staggering breakfast to maximise space in the dining area. Breakfast was superb with a wide choice and all beautifully cooked and presented. Jackie was able to give us lots of helpful advice on things to see on the Isle and also where to eat locally.

Eating out was a challenge as there are only a limited number of restaurants in Shanklin and it was the first week of the Govt. 50% off scheme. So most restaurants were fully booked for the week. Fortunately we had our own car so we were able to drive to find places to eat outside of Shanklin.

From the B&B it is only a short walk into Shanklin or to the cliff tops. The cliff lift was out of action due to COVID restrictions, so it was quite a walk to get to the sea front. 

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Heatherleigh  and would stay again if we were to return to the Isle of Wight

I visited for a short break with my wife and two teenage daughters. Jackie the host was superb and could not have made us more welcome or been more helpful. The B&B is spotlessly clean and all COVID checks and controls are in place. Great location and value for money. I could not find any faults.

Perfect for our short stay on the IOW.

Had a fantastic time jackie is very welcoming and if you are stuck for things to do or places to eat she will help you in every way. Breakfast was delicious and hot. Not far from town or the sea front. Would recommend the heatherleigh b&b to all my friends and family.

Weekend break 

This b & b is a first class place to stay.it was spotless. Very comfy bed.  Large fluffy towels. Jackie was a lovely hostess  doing all she can to make sure you have a great stay.  Breakfast room spacious  light and lovely white linen tablecloths  breakfast food very good quality  coved guidelines all in place so you feel safe .would definitely stay again.  It was my birthday while there thank you Jackie for the lovely flowers in my room  on arrival   Great location.  You won't be disappointed if you book a stay here 

Excellent b & b

We stayed this last week and thoroughly enjoyed our time at Heatherleigh. Jackie was so welcoming and accommodating, went out of her way to help us . We were able to have a socially distancing stay, clean rooms then we had to clean ourselves which I actually liked , timed breakfast (they were perfectly cooked ) .  Tea ,coffee available in the room , TV, WiFi , hairdryer , comfortable sleep 
I would recommend.
