We stayed only one night but wish we had found the House earlier. If we visit the area again we will definitely stay here again. Really pleasant and relaxing. Maria the owner was a great host. Our room was very large and quiet. We had a meal at a local restaurant just 2 mins drive away. The next morning we had a really good breakfast before our departure.
Lovely area and views from the window of the Trent were lovely.

What a lovely place and Maria is a fantastic hostess.
Room was very cosy and comfortable, with fantastic views of the river.

Bed is really comfortable and the room was lovely and warm.

Lovely breakfast basket crammed full of goodies .

Nice and Tranquil

Arrived for a three night stay choosing Budleigh House due to the recommendations of locals and trip advisor comments, was not disappointed. The owner Maria gave a warm welcome on arrival and discussed all the amenities within the area and places to eat Jenny Wren pub a mile away serving good quality and value food a mile away. We were upgraded to the premier room which was spacious and lived up to its name with a lovely view over the river Trent. The term home from home can be loosely used not in this case a first class stay and a certain return thank you Maria.

Hugely impressed by every element of this B & B. Situation, space, comfort, and not least lovely host Maria. Would love to revisit in the Spring/Summer to take advantage of the garden. Highly recommend the Premier Suite which worked so well for me and my elderly Mum. Thank you for a fab stay

Me and my partner have just returned from Budleigh and what can I say from the minute we walked in we was made to feel very welcome the house is beautiful, the Premier suite was perfect, Maria is a super star so lovely, we will defiantly be returning ❤️

Maria is the perfect hostess.  She has thought of everything.  She arranged a table for dinner for us at the local pub.  The Eden suite is spacious and very comfortable.  Lovely breakfast. It was a pleasure to stay - why would you go anywhere else?

Just stayed here on the 3rd August What a wonderful place Budleigh is . We have stayed  a number of times now  , this quirky little B & B is lovely the owner Maria is welcoming friendly and cannot do enough for you , rooms are just perfect breakfast is excellent would highly recommend Thanks Maria hope to see you again soon

Lovely Place

Lovely location and Maria was a brilliant host.
My room was top class as is the rest of the house.
Breakfast was beautiful and beautifully presented.
It’s quiet and the gardens and local area is beautiful.
I’ll certainly be returning.
