Had a nice stay, got no complaints at all. Nice room, clean and purposeful and just what we were looking for. Staff were pleasant and attentive and there always seemed to be someone about when you needed them. Would definitely stay here agt.

Overnight stay

Excellent stay, lovely and quiet, comfortable and cosy.
Staff helpful and polite, couldn't have asked for more, we will definitely be going back, we had a lovely peaceful sleep and good selection at breakfast and at dinner, perfectly cooked too 😋.
Good value for money all round.


Premier plus

It was very nice place to stay but unfortunately there were no staff around and there was 3 different groups all waiting to check I, despite ringing the bell nobody came so we had to use the self checkin machine which took forever but everything else was very comfortable 

Pleasant stay

Arrived to welcoming staff. 
Our premier room was eagerly awaited after a long ferry journey and a comfortable warm bed was very much needed. 
The room on arrival was absolutely freezing and you could see your own breath. As we regularly stay in these hotels we are familiar with the heating system. The room, bed and bathroom was chilled. We reported this at 10pm. The receptionist said she would override the heating system and it would take 15 minutes to warm the room up. At 11 pm  and still bitterly cold, the bed too, the situation was ridiculous. We eventually went to bed at 11.30pm, after wearing our coats for an hour. 
Breakfast. Cold food. Dried up food. And a meeting in place at the entrance to the breakfast area. Having to walk through a meeting at 10am when food is served until 10.30am is not acceptable. Again await of 15/20 minutes for food is not acceptable. Cook it to order is better when not busy and would create less wastage. 
A refund for breakfast was offered, and appreciated, but hot fresh food was actually what was needed. 
My husband spoke to the manager politely and explained the whole situation. She agreed. 
I would like to add that the young man on breakfast duty was polite, respectful and very professional.

Not the usual standard

Stayed for 2 nights at late notice just after Christmas.  Night staff were very lazy and unhelpful giving incorrect information and refusing to give extra towels, pillows or the 3rd bed we needed when booking a family room. We witnessed staff being rude to 3 other guests with a bad and unhelpful attitude with eye rolling, tutting and sighing. 
Had noise issues for iver 6 hours from room above but told they couldn't do anything until 10am. We had a bad night's sleep twice because of it. 
Cleaner barged into room on 1st morning waking us despite having a do not disturb sign on the door. No apology made.
Room itself was clean and comfortable. Not enough beds or towels though and staff refused to help. Had to ask many times before they finally made up the 3rd bed and provided the pillows and extra towels. (Room only had a hand towel, bath mat and 2 small towels for 3 people)
Hotel location is good with a use supermarket and many food options on its doorstep which is helpful. Close proximity to motorway, Portsmouth and port solent for restaurants, cinema and other entertainment. 
Parking at hotel can be hit and miss and there are not enough disabled spaces. Staff said csrpark is separate to the hotel so they can not monitor if disabled bays are used by actual blue badge holders or not. Parking is free but you need to register your car on a daily basis. 
Day staff especially Lottie were very helpful and much better than the night staff. 
Overall disappointed with our stay here and not to the standard I'd expect of a Premier Inn. We have stayed in so many across the country over the years and never had such rude and lazy night staff.

Nice hotel but unhelpful staff.

We had a really great stay.  The room was really comfortable and perfect for us.  But above all, I was really impressed with the reception we received.  Every single member of staff that we encountered was cheerful and super helpful.  Thank you. 

Fabulous staff

The trip was excellent and the stay was perfect. Rooms was up to standard and Premier Inn have never disappointed us. Plenty of parking spaces and also there are few earing out places so a good location for a break. 

Value for money

Totally horrible people to deal with - Horizon Parking wrongly have fined me and have not only ignored my appeals twice then rejected my appeal even though I provided proof of payment. Nobody and no contact numbers available to discuss this with either them or Premier inn.

Dirty cold room no bathroom vent, complained at desk no improvement, like it or lump it attitude,
Stayed there several time before with no problems, will be unlikely to stay at premier Inn the future once bitten twice shy.

Freeze in Port Solent

Will definitely be back here again.  Could not ask for more - room, staff, breakfast were all exceptional.  

Booked a 2 night stay in a Premier+ room.  Huge bed, fridge, kettle, coffee machine, little chocolates, heat control - couldn't ask for better.  Staff were lovely, vreakfast was very good and overall a great experience. 

We could not believe this was a Premier Inn!  So much better than the other hotels we had stayed in in Portsmouth, fir half the price.  Definitely be back, blows the rest of them out the water!
