Down the road from Penarth town centre and walking distance from Cogan train station.  

It’s a semidetached house of a  main road with little signage to suggest it s a B&B. It’s Apperance outside is poor as rubbish throw outside and no parking spaces for guest. Parking is possible on the road opposite the B&B if there is available spaces-luck of the draw. 

The ground floor is the kitchen and dining area. Communal Areas poorly kept with clutter of clothes and items behind the washing area and clothes drying in that area. The stairs up to room 7 required three sections of stairs. 

Room 7:the attic was once a big space now divided up into a sitting area, two rooms and a toilet. The partition is ply wood so not great sounds proofing. The  Single room,l was so  tiny room  with inadequate ceiling height and space. 
A lot of Lost space under the ceiling  and Velux window both wasted and hence space in room cramped .

The  inadequate ceiling height with me, bumping my head a number of times as I’m using the chest of drawers. The window was extremely dirty with bird droppings which should’ve been cleaned and the carpet just below the Velux window was had some debris on it and should’ve been vacuumed prior to admitting gas. The general square footage area is so small in that room, that literally just comes in and lies on the bed. Uncomfortable bed- shaggy and slept thought with springs felt when sleeping poking into your back and  average bedding. 

Poor basics of a room with No wardrobe/ handing space  to hang your clothes and no
Mirror. 

Shared toilet opposite room with bathroom down stairs. The first floor bathroom is large with towel radiator with the water pressure from the showers rather poor. The toilet up on the second floor meets  purpose of bruising teeth etc. 

Saturday night came back at 9pm and the hall way and entrance stunk of Hash!  Then at 1030pm there was shouting and a verbal fight from one of the rooms below. 
Overnight car passing by , people talking in other rooms and pigeons noises could be heard. Poor night sleep! 

Will not recommend staying in room 7!

Toni and lewis were very friendly. Felt very at ease and it was so welcoming. 
The room was big and comfortable, had a lovely nights sleep.

Friendly hosts and very comfortable stay at Weavers House b and b in Penarth. Toni and Lewis were great friendly people and accommodated me on a longer stay at their house.

The property is close to a train station  into nearby Cardiff city centre and the lovely seaside town of Penarth is a short stroll away.

Great experience. Hope to return here.

Great stay at cosy B and B with friendly hosts

We stayed here for 1 night as a family of 3 as we had a day trip to Barry, 
The place is lovely, Friendly greeting from owners son.Who was also very helpful, Clean and tidy. 
Peaceful at night so you got a good sleep.Good location and easy to find.
Would 100% stay again,

Stop over

Really friendly and welcoming staff, very comfortable beds easy access to the train, very happy with the experience and would defently recommend to others.

Next time we go to Cardiff would defently book here again

Home From Home

I'm not sure how this inn got such great reviews. Maybe the other rooms were (much) better than mine, but even allowing for less road noise (my window opened right out onto the main road with traffic even at 2am), there was still quite a bit of other-guest-noise, creaking floors and such. The not knowing it wasn't en-suite is entirely my fault, but the room was quite stuffy in the heat with no way to cool it down -- no fan (I didn't expect a/c). The breakfast was good, and the manager was nice but seemed unable to help as he "isn't the owner." Also the WiFi was spotty.

Myself and 2 friends came to stay at weavers house b&b. We were welcomed by a very friendly gentleman, (Sorry I can't remember his name) he immediately showed us around, told us where everything was kept and offered us a drink. The rooms were all nicely presented and clean, very nice bathroom/toilet facilities. I had a brilliant nights sleep, the bed was very comfortable. In the morning there was a nice selection of cereal, fresh & dried fruit, yogurts, toast, crossants and much more for Breakfast. We had fresh tea and coffee made for us and nothing was too much trouble. I also really liked that we didn't have to leave until 12.00pm, most b&b's you usually have to leave by 10.00am so it gave us plenty of time to eat & shower before leaving. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in the area and will most likely return if I am in the area again.

Excellent B&B

Brilliant stay with a clean, spacious room and excellent bathroom facilities. Great location for going into Cardiff centre (10 quid taxi) - will definitely be back the next time I visit! Aaron was helpful right from the start and made us feel at home.
