Stayed here for 3 night and had such a lovely time! Would highly recommend to anyone! The rooms, staff, breakfast and  atmosphere were all amazing! Cannot fault anything at all, perfect place for a get away! Stunning views from the rooms were such a bonus too!!

Perfect get away!

We were made to feel very welcome from as soon as we arrived until we left. Nothing is too much trouble. Would recommend this place It’s like home from home. The room was quite small but worth it just for the view  The breakfast room is overlooking the sea as well so you feel very relaxed. This morning we had a sea lion watching us.

it is situated in an excellent location with the beach across the road and town are just few minutes walk away.
Free parking is nearby,
They are very good with covid-19 rules, hand sanitising stations, Seating was per covid-19 guidance regulations taking temperatures on arrival.
The room we had was clean and with fantastic sea views, well worth the walk up the stairs.
Food was excellent, freshly cooked fantastic full breakfast done us until well into the day before we felt hungry again,  . 
It was a Family friendly place to stay 
Would definitely recommend this establishment and looking forward to returning

Spur of the moment stay and it was awesome! Beautiful sea views, welcoming and friendly. Covid procedures amazing, temp taken on arrival. Stunning little room with everything that you could possibly need. Breakfast beautiful, (hubby ate his and finished mine). Couldn’t do enough for us as guests , so caring and friendly. Parking onsite, great location and everything we needed for our stay. Little gem, credit to Louise X

AMAZING ❤️

Our staycation was made by this little hotel.  Do not expect high gloss and ultra modern, this is a 1930’s house.  Lovely fresh linen, fluffy towels and a new shower.  Lots of little touches, plenty of tea, coffee, bottled water and welcome chocolates.   

Yes, some areas needs some TLC, but we loved the homely feel.  Lovely staff and Louise took to chat.  Breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty, loved the background music which added to the atmosphere.  Just fabulous to wake up to the sound of the sea.  We can understand why people go back every year and we would when visiting the area in the future.

We do like to be by the seaside

Wow.. what can I say.. this little gem of a find I really want to keep quiet, bit I would not be fair to the fabulous Louise and her small team of heroes... the rooms are fab, amenities spot on, location is superb.. clean is an understatement.. Louise cannot do enough for you and is a total joy and pleasure to talk to, She has cracked the art of customer service, I have stayed in many 5* hotels in the world who do not care as much as Louise!! The breakfast... well...amazing produce, prepared with love and care. A sublime stay, you will see me again. 👌

Found hotel and it was very cheap so wasn’t expecting much but what a surprise can’t fault the view room ,was very comfortable all the staff were very pleasant ,breakfast was second to none there s a set time but just asked for an earlier breakfast staff couldn’t be more helpful asked for extra T bags and sugar as I’m a T aholic  and they supplied them nothing is to much trouble ,ample parking outside b&b is a 30s house that has been converted so don’t expect ultra modern free  Wi-fi worked great only booked 2 days but ended up staying 4 would definitely return for another stay thank you Louise for making my stay so pleasant 

Great little B&B

Just returned from a three night break at the Torbay Sands Hotel. On arrival the lovely owner Louise showed us our room and also offered us an upgrade to a sea view which we very gratefully accepted. Our room had a spectacular view out over the bay and even though we picked a very stormy weekend to visit it didn't stop me enjoying the view of the really wild sea in action!! The room was bright and clean and very well equipped with TV, hairdryer, toiletries and ample supply of tea, coffee hot chocolate and biscuits etc. The bathroom was spacious and the shower really powerful and hot, towels were large and really fluffy too. We slept very soundly all nights and woke to a beautifully cooked breakfast each day, also choice of cereal, fruit juice and plenty of  tea and coffee. Service was so quick and friendly but we werent rushed at all, enjoying a lovely view from the breakfast room out over the sea. We would like to thank Louise so much for making us feel so very welcome and if we return to Paignton we will definitely return to the Torbay Sands.

A lovely three night break

We stayed at this lovely place for one night. It’s quirky welcoming and different from the Norm with its brilliant vintage theme! The room was comfortable, water,biscuits tea and coffee all plentiful in the room, with a lie heart shaped chocolate on the pillow. We had sea view room which I highly recommend. The breakfast was great and we could choose what we wanted and how we wanted it cooked nothing was too much trouble! We ate breakfast in the dining room overlooking the sea which was a great start to the day! Louise the landlady was extremely attentive, chatty and provided us with a wealth of information on local venues! Would I stay here again.... we’ve already booked! Thank you.

Great place to stay

Very brief, but been working away and have stayed in 4 places in this area, it’s not as close to the main bars/shops as others but this place beats the 4 I’ve stayed previously. 
Examples... Very good shower, towels, complimentary water every day , biscuits, really nice bedding, really clean nice rooms. 
Recommend !
