Room comfortable spacious room comfortable bed nice clean bathroom. Being on the first floor overlooking the very busy and noisy A45 dual carriageway, sound proofing totally inadequate. Had a poor sleep. Noisy loud guests in adjacent rooms. Sound proofing inadequate. 

One night stay mid week

On arrival you have to enter through to Toby Carvery doors, does not have its own entrance. The night staff were lovely and courteous, but the rooms let the premises down. Very tired and in need of a deep clean, bathrooms really need a refurb

Great Staff, tired building

I recently stayed at this hotel and i must say it met all expectations, ive previously stayed at other travelodges but this was a first visit to this one. The hotel itself appeared very busy with a fair amount of guests but this didnt have a negative effect on the service recieved. The staff were friendly, polite and more than helpful. The hotel was clean and the room was cosy and comfortable. I had a lovely stay and some much needed great sleep. Will definately return in the future

Great hotel, staff and location

Room quite shabby. Beds tiny low and uncomfortable. Lighting in room insufficient bathroom floor uneven considering was a wet room supposedly for disabled. Staff helpful and friendly. Restaurant staff polite but a bit clueless 

Needs refurbished

Great location with Toby Cavery on site and a nearby garage.
Peaceful sleep away from the hustle and bustle. Staff lovely and helpful. Enjoyed my stay very much. My room lovely and clean! Pet friendly. Would stay again and highly recommend.

Lovely hotel

I would never stay here again, it gives travelodge a bad name. Our room was disgusting. Stains on sheets and duvet itself, hair on bathroom walls.  I am so disappointed as we were really looking forward to our stay. We didn't even use the shower as the bathroom was so dirty.

Dirty

Travelodge are really testing their customers patient and understanding - the hotel is a bit old and tired, although fairly well maintained.
The entrance is shared with the adjacent restaurant, so was not that easy to find and there was plenty of (free) parking space.
The room on the first floor (no lift) was clean, but dated, beds were decent and yes, I could open the windows, but there is a bit of traffic noise from the nearby A45.
The bathroom was a disappointing though, one of the light bulbs didn't work, the wobbly shower was impossible to fix and the water pressure was too weak.
It gets rating of three only because of the cheap price - £34 (and my low expectations) - in summary Travelodge really must up their game and upgrade their hotels rapidly.

Handy for overnight stay

Clean.  Cheap compared to others.  The buzzing in to gain entry is a bit of a pain at 3am and the duvets were thin ( and it was a cold night ).  But overall no real issues for the price (£45) . Friendly team 

Clean and well priced

The room had everything we needed as a family of four & a dog, spacious, clean, tv & tea making facility was great. Plenty of room for hanging clothes and also drawers, bathroom was a lovely size, nice hot shower and was clean.

Everything we needed

We went with a party of 42 and the hotel manager was very accommodating from our arrival to our departure. We are able to access two rooms way before check in so we could leave our luggage before travelling to watch the Northampton Saints rugby match meaning we were leaving all of our luggage on a coach and it was in a locked, safe hotel room instead. The rooms were all immaculately clean and the beds were lovely and comfy. Bathrooms were a great size too. The hotel is in a very accessible location and with a Toby Cavery next door breakfast was sorted! Really recommend this hotel!
