Great place for a get together with friends or family. Each of the five bedrooms has a shower room. Kitchen very well equipped, great dining room and sitting room with lots of games, DVD's etc. Spotlessly clean. Very centrally located, lots of restaurants, pubs within 5 minutes walk.
Only issue we had was a bedroom radiator not working but the owners were very responsive and provided an alternative heater the same day.

Great place

I am assuming by some reviews that this used to be a bed and breakfast, it is now just a self catering house. 
We are a family of 8, 1 small dog and a baby, we have been trying to get together for 3 years, so we really did not want to be let down....we certainly were not. 
The house was perfect, 5 ensuite, icing on the cake. The house is clean and has everything we needed. The hamper of goodies was above and beyond and really enjoyed, the heating was great and allways hot water. Lots of board games and lots of books etc.. Amble is a lovely town with lovely walks along the sea front and to the castle,  lots of eatery's and a great pub on the doorstep. There is a boarded up pub opposit, but that meant it was really quiet and made parking easier as we had 4 cars. We will definately use again and will recommend. If I had any improvements it would be to tidy the small area at the back so you could maybe bbq and a travel cot would have saved having to pack one, but these are really irrelevant.  Thankyou for a lovely comfy stay.

Perfect family get together

We were very pleased with our large and very warm room. A lovely breakfast and the owner Les was very welcoming.  Would definitely go again. Very central in Amble near pubs, restaurants ,cafes , the beach and mariner.

Stayed here as a last minute booking wasn't expecting much for the price but boy were we wrong basic but very clean with en suite shower room wall mounted tv very comfortable bed even had a fridge very handy for chilling our wine cracking breakfast cooked by our host Les who was very friendly and helpful will defo be back x

Saturday night getaway 

Stayed in room 1 which is ground floor 2 beds en suite wall mounted tv free wifi nice easy chair in bay window very clean and tea making facilities it is run by a cheerful man called Les nothing to much trouble good full english breakfast filled us up for the day.There is a pub right opposite and one to the side very quiet at night with windows open the harbour is a stones throw away Thank you Les look forward to seeing you next year

Excellent price

Stayed for six days in June.
Les is a kind host, great value, brilliant location for harbour. Cant believe full breakfast included at this price. Thank you for a lovely stay. Look forward to seeing you again.

Excellent value, perfect location, kind host.

When we booked last minute just for a bed for the night was expecting it to be a dive for the price.We were on a lads fishing trip so didn't care .Well  we got a shock the place was clean had everything we needed and will be booking again in the summer .Les was away and his friend Margaret was looking after the place she was lovely nothing was too much trouble .It was ten paces from a good pub and not many more to a fabulous chippy .We left our boat in the marina which was a five minute stroll enabling us to not touch the car all weekend .To be honest 22 quid for the night including continental breakfast was a bit of a joke .I believe when Les is there he does a full English .

Unbelievable price

Run by a lovely man,Les,who cooks a crackin' breakfast,rooms all ensuite and very good size,clean and tidy with TV and tea making facilities. Have stayed here many times,in a great location near the harbour

Our first trip to Amble definitely won't be our last! Lime Lodge is in a top location and Les is a very lovely host - plus puts on a great english breakfast in the morning.

Simple but comfortable - Would recommend!
