No. 9

2nd visit to this bed and breakfast.  Bob and Caroline are so welcoming. Immaculate room with  very comfy bed.  Breakfast is gorgeous. Highly recommend. Definitely worth a visit and looking forward to returning 

This was our second stay at No.9 and was every bit as good as the first.
Bob and Caroline are exceptional hosts. Nothing is too much trouble for them.
The attention to detail is superb. The room is spotlessly clean and well equipped. The breakfasts are particularly fine and hearty, with an array of home made and locally sourced foods
We stayed two nights and will have no hesitation in returning to No.9 when next in the area.

Had a lovely 2 night stay. Very comfortable room with all you'd need and an excellent breakfast.
Situated within walking distance of the town centre shops, pubs and restaurants.
Felt well looked after by host Bob.

We stayed for four nights. The  room was very clean  and comfortable. The breakfast first class. Caroline and Bob are so friendly and willing to give advice on places to visit and things to do.  We hope to visit again one day.

We stayed for 2 nights in the en-suite king bedded room which was clean and quiet and with a comfortable bed. The B & B is in perfect location – Easy to find, just a 10-15 minute walk into Wareham town centre and only 5 minutes’ walk from a good Indian restaurant.  
Bob and Caroline are excellent hosts. They are extremely knowledgeable about the local area and a fountain of knowledge about where to go and what to see, especially if walking or cycling are your thing. They are such great company.  
Covid precautions were very well executed without being intrusive.  Breakfast was fantastic with a variety of fresh fruit salads/compotes and homemade produce including natural yogurt, muesli, granola and conserves.  We also had the full English breakfasts cooked by Bob using quality local produce. These too were excellent.  
We will stay here again when we are back in the area and have no hesitation in recommending it.

I only stayed for one night but wish I could stay longer! The house is in a nice and quiet location - 5 mins walk to the train station and 15 min drive to Kimmeridge bay. The room is very cozy with every attention to detail and perfect facilities. From the moment I entered the building, I felt so welcomed by the hosts, Bob&Caroline. I had such a wonderful time there and would love to come visit again. :)

You could not meet more friendly, and yet professional, hosts than Caroline and Bob.
The accommodation is spotless and they have all safety measures in place during this difficult time of Covid. The breakfast is fantastic and always cooked to perfection by Bob - not to mention the home grown fruit and home made preserves. Both Caroline and Bob are more than accommodating to their guests, and definitely go the extra mile to ensure a wonderful, stress free stay.
They are both founts of information, and thus will recommend all the best eating places, places to visit etc. Being incredibly well travelled they are an exceptionally interesting couple.
They were so welcoming to our well behaved Cocker Spaniel, and he had a great stay.
I cannot recommend No 9 highly enough. Thank you Bob and Caroline for a fantastic few days and taking such an immense pride in running this first class establishment. Di and Stuart .... and Heidar  -  Woof!!! Xxx


Just returned from 3 night stay with Bob and Caroline. Fantastic couldn't praise it enough outstanding breakfast cereal fruit salad plus home cooked rhubarb yogurt, cereal. We had the fresh smoked haddock every day with poached egg. Our double room en suite incredible comfy. We are going back in the future wouldn't go any where else. Excellent value. Thank you

We stayed at No 9 with our dog and it was absolutely fantastic.  Bob was very friendly and kind and the breakfast was amazing.  Our room was spacious and everything was perfect in every way.  We have booked as a complete family for next summer and we are so pleased we wound No. 9.

No. 9 is a great place to stay in Dorset. Bob is a very friendy and helpful chap with an excellent knowledge of the local area.
Lovely clean accommodation and a cracking breakfast with plenty of choices.
Highly recommended.
