Not a hotel but a B&B close proximity to Blackpool. Not inviting from the outside but clean and comfy inside. Our host Ana was very obliging and provided a nice continental breakfast with eggs before departure. Rooms are compact but our room at the front of the house had a comfortable bed and on-suite for a short stay.

We had the family room, ground floor super spacious . Good selection tea/coffee/hotchoc. Perfect location and free parking . Ana a great host couldn't do enough for you, nothing too much trouble. Lovely continental breakfast and poached eggs on toast cooked perfectly. Highly recommend we will definitely be back many thanks .

Great place to stay

Great stay , very clean and near to all bars and restaurants , the host hannah was very helpful indeed , very nice breakfast , cooked perfectly,  great parking  , right out side the front door and convenient for local transport  , highly recommended

Great host

Had the warmest welcome from Ana, nothing to much trouble, room was small but perfectly formed everything you need. Great night's sleep the bed was so comfy. Breakfast was continental with an offer of eggs and toast cooked how you like I had poached and they were perfect and the coffee was great. Thank you for our stay will definitely come back. X

Perfect night away for 2 great location

We stayed for one night and it was an enjoyable night. Ana is very welcoming and couldnt do enough for us. The bedroom is very clean and comfortable especially the bed (we had a great nights sleap). Free continental breakfast, WiFi and parking a big bonus. Thankyou for our stay

One night away to recharge my batteries

The hotel is a family run business. Ana gave us a friendly welcome and went out of her way to be kind and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable. The hotel is central for town and beach. Breakfast was a very tasty generous continental.  The prices are very fair and I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area.


The Monarch Hotel in Lytham st Anne's Perfect Hotel to stay!

Very basic “continental breakfast”, tiny room, clean but very shabby, one of the smallest showers I’ve ever encountered.  I actually re-checked the booking site to ensure that I’d booked the correct accommodation. Needs spot-checked at some point.

Did I book the correct accommodation?

A family run establishment. Lovely clean and friendly place. Ideally situated for Lytham St Annes. Anna couldn't have been more welcoming. Although the car park is only relatively small, there is plenty of on street parking as well. Will definitely return

Ideally placed and very clean

Greeted by a lady who was lovely asked what time we wanted breakfast we stated 10am she said is 930am ok due to her having a baby we said yes whatever is easiest. She then said yea or coffee which we answered then the following morning we headed to the dining room which was full but had a couple of empty tables so we sat down. My husband got up to get us both a glass of orange to be confronted by the host to say breakfast was now not included? We were both so embarrassed by the way she broached this in front of the other guests. I think to ask us on what time we wanted breakfast and what drinks we wanted she should of clarified prior to us entering the dining room or when we actually spoke to her to get our room key.

Embarrassing situation

Ana was such a lovely hostess - nothing was too much trouble. My bedroom was cosy and warm, it was immaculately clean and welcoming after a good night out
Breakfast was delicious- proper full English with real coffee, continental breakfast is also available 
I will definitely come back if I need to stay in Lytham again
