A smallish but very well kept hotel.  The food is excellent and the welcome and helpfulness of Hazel was great. The gardens really are lovely as we had a garden room with our little dog, opening out into the garden. We couldn't have had a nicer break and Ross and Hazel looked after our pup well, thank you.
Close to some nice walks into Looe, Polperro or Talland Bay.
Will stay again. It was very quiet as the nearest road was at least 400 metres away apart from a small lane leading to woods.

Anniversary Break

We have just returned from an Autumn Break at Trelaske. As always Hazel and Ross ensured that it was a special time that we will remember on those dull, Mid - Winter afternoons when you need a lift.
If you need to know anything about Cornwall and the local amenities - Hazel is the person to talk to. She is always there for you but not in an obtrusive way. She also has a great gift for making you feel “at home “ as soon as you arrive to the end of your stay.
Ross - The master in the kitchen. His food is exceptional from breakfast with all its choices from Full English to Continental. We always love his smoked haddock!
Dinner is an experience! Fresh breads baked daily. Fish from the Looe Day Boat, meats sourced from local farmers and vegetables and herbs grown in polytunnels on site. To accompany all this is a superb wine list with so much choice.
We stayed in a garden room which had stunning views of the garden and surrounding countryside.
If you are looking for a relaxing break to ‘recharge the batteries’ - look no further.
Trelaske is set in the countryside just off the Looe - Polperro Road. It’s so quiet and peaceful you cannot fail to enjoy your holiday there.

TRELASKE - HOME FROM HOME!

We have recently returned from our second seven night stay this summer at Trelaske. Both visits have been most enjoyable. Hazel's front of house skills are amazing and are well complemented by Ross and his culinary skills.
Trelaske makes for a truly relaxing holiday and is a wonderful place to meet old friends, as we did on our recent stay.
Trelaske is certainy one of Cornwall's hidden gems and is well worth a stay. You will not be disappointed.

Never Disappoints

Hazel and Ross were excellent hosts. We had superb breaksfast and evening meals all freshly cooked and to an extremely high standard. Our room was very clean and comfortable and airy with excellent views. We were sorry to only have had a five day stay and hope to be able to visit again soon. We would highly recommend the Trelaske Hotel and Restaurant.

A Five Day Break At Trelaske Hotel

Stayed for 4 nights with old parents and old dog! 
Only negative was the weather - 🙄 - nothing to do with the hotel! Comfortable large en suite room with patio doors out to the garden where there are extensive lawns for walking the dog or just strolling around. Dinner, bed & breakfast booked - food fantastic! Even the dog was given DB&B! Hazel so helpful in many ways - great advice regarding our trips out. I loved this place.

Dog friendly, peaceful and AMAZING food!

We had a lovely time and would definitely come back in the future. Very close to Looe and Polperro and a great view from the room.  We also very much enjoyed the fried breakfast and dinner. Overall, we had a very nice time.

Excellent Stay

We don't visit Cornwall very often owing to the distance involved, but feel that we made an excellent choice here.Wonderful location with panoramic views, and Hazel the owner was very welcoming and friendly. Stayed for four nights' B & B and wish we could have made it more! Would highly recommend, and next time we travel down to the South West we will definitely consider a return visit.

Excellent Choice

This is my ninth visit to Trelaske Hotel & Restaurant to enjoy the wonderful surroundings and tranquillity of the place. Hazel always makes you feel very welcome and nothing is too much trouble for her also Ross produces such wonderful food that it is difficult to choose from the menu. Everything is well maintained in the hotel even down to the gardens. It is a small hotel which is wonderful as you can just relax and enjoy your break with no hustle and bustle, it is just pure relaxation. I will be back as soon as I can.

Ninth Visit Still Fabulous

We have stayed many times at the Trelaske and each time Hazel and Ross have looked after us very well. 

The hotel is set in large grounds with lovely views across rural south east Cornwall. This time we stayed for over a week and enjoyed the hospitality provided by the hotel. Hazel works hard to ensure each guest recieves first class service. 

The rooms are large and airy and provide an excellent base to visit many places. Thank you Hazel and Ross for looking after us so well.

Another Lovely Stay

We can only echo what others have said. The Trelaske Hotel delivers great hospitality and superb food. It was always a delight to choose our three-course meal from the delicious courses on offer and we could rarely resist the particularly excellent fish dish, which was always imaginative and cooked to perfection. The opportunity to relax and enjoy a pre-dinner drink in their conservatory and well-stocked bar area was also most welcome.

Our room was comfortable and airy with a terrace looking towards Bodmin Moor. With Hazel always very helpful with her advice and suggestions, we have no hesitation in recommending the Trelaske Hotel to anyone visiting the area.
