This was my fifth visit in the last seven years and was as enjoyable an experience as ever. Guests are well looked after, with a good hearty breakfast, served with a cheery "Good morning", and a very comfortable bed in a pleasant room. Free parking and located on a quiet street, but only a few minutes walk from the sea front and the town's shops, cafes and restaurants. I really enjoyed my stay and very much hope I can make another visit.

Polite helpful host. Free parking includes breakfast. Room was very small  approximately 6 inch gap between bottom of bed & wall so difficult to move around the room & bathroom was tiny and impractical good location for all town’s amenities .

Went to this hotel with my friend for a two night stay and was so disappointed, when we arrived we only had two very small towels for the shower and one hand towel so we asked if we could have another one because we were washing our hair as well to which the reply was hand towels are for hands, we did get another hand towel but was made to feel very uncomfortable, the room we stayed in was not very clean 
The window frame was very dirty, the exterior fan was full of dust, the door into the bathroom didn’t close properly and was on a runner which was very dirty everything needed a good clean. The bed was very uncomfortable as well. Been to Llandudno a few times and never stayed anywhere like this 😡 there was no path to get to the hotel it was all car park which made it difficult to walk with case between the cars, if you had a trolley you would never of got near the door, stairs were very steep going in to breakfast room. Didn’t like to say anything after the repose we got when we first arrived, was happy to leave 

Unhappy

We had a 2 night stay here (Thurs/Fri) at the end of June. 
We were made to feel very welcome throughout our stay. Our host was fabulous and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast is outstanding and made with top quality produce. 
The whole vibe was happy and positive and we will look forward to visiting again.

Stay in Llandudno

Lovely clean guest house excellent choice of breakfast with quality ingredients. Location ideal just 5min walk to front. Excellent hosts very polite and accommodating. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Tracy and Deb x

So the minute  we step in the lady loved telling me she shamed a customer  at breakfast  in front of other guests about vaping,she went on to ask me if I was eating out not realising  the restrictions  she has made but aren't on booking.com,she also told another couple who came in that they must be respectful when getting back because there was children here which  I never saw once,anyhow the room lmao....entered a cold room windows open too,closed them and omg those windows need one mighty clean not been cleaned in years you can tell.cobwebs everywhere although  we asked for a classic double  we were given  a family room right next to the 
(dirty) kettle  was a station for it on a tray alongside a lamp wow health and safety issue ,I sat like a mug freezing so went down and asked if there was a portable heater I felt like I was being called a liar cus her reaction  was really are you...we were given a worthless heater which did nothing but what annoyed me most of all was the fact they had turned the radiator off in the room so my husband   turned them on after much effort very tightly turned off so some people might not have the strength to turn it on for the heat and sit  like we did  .then we popped to the shop to get ice on our return she was waiting for me to reprimand me about leaving the lights on and tv on,we realised when we got to our room that she sits watching  pple  on the camera  (pretty sad really)we have been all over the world in 5*hotels as well as some lower even seaside resorts and never got treated like this ever!this morning we went for breakfast  we were the only ones there at the time another couple came down after us and got their breakfast  before us how is that so? Is it because of my husband  being asian  cus thats what I'm putting it down to,she was very pol
ite to all the other customers  but just about managed to speak to us....my advice to foreign  people is beware she shows it  also put all your rules and regulations up because people  hate it when owners take it upon themselves  to enter and inspect  things when ur not in the room.....if you like being told what to do then feel free to come here but I wouldn't come here if it was offered for free.you must update  booking.com that you don't  have a shared lounge where guests can sit together  and watch  TV,you don't give bottled water, you don't provide  toiletries, and that you don't allow food in the rooms and empty your own bins rather than blame the previous  owners who left 4years ago.make time to clean your dirty filthy window frames covered in cobwebs and dirt .move the dirty kettle  of the bedside  cabinet  right next to the bed where a child can get severely injured ,put latches on the inside of the doors so we don't have to lock ourselves in and put ourselves at risk if ever a fire happened cus that is another health and safety issue,spend less time  snooping  in people's room and reprimanding them because you left the TV or light on ,if you can't afford the electricity  then don't run a guest house,you made me so uncomfortable  and unwelcome that I actually  hardly spoke to you because of how we were treated and I feared I would of told you your behaviour  was disgusting  and how you get great reviews that your rooms are very clean baffles me,but my pictures  showtheyre not

Feels like I'm in some prison camp with dos and donts

Fantastic Hosts, Melissa and Richard, couldn’t fault them, so warm and welcoming.
We had a spotlessly clean, en suite, comfortable, basic ,no frills, compact family room on the top floor. 35 stairs to climb up in total.
Breakfasts were wonderful, everything was spot on and presented beautifully.
Location was brilliant ,and very handy for the shops,restaurants,beach and pier.Plus, we were lucky enough to be able to gain one of the parking slots allocated for guests.
Some covid restrictions still remain in place at Ashfields, such as staggered breakfast times ,and no daily servicing of the bedrooms. But fresh towels and clean sheets available if staying longer than a couple of nights or so. As well as plenty of extra milk, tea bags and coffee on request on a daily basis.
We wouldn’t hesitate to return for a weekend break.

Excellent value for money

Just spent 2 nights here. Propitiator was very welcoming. Couldn’t do enough. Hotel was clean. Room was compact but we had the luxury of a dressing area. 
Lovely breakfast. Served hot. Guests are staggered to avoid overcrowding the dining room. You can chose your time the day before. 
A few reasonable Covid measures remain. 
Nice and close to bars, restaurants, shops and promenade. 
Would definitely stay again and recommend.

Ideal for a break away.

I spent a  long weekend here
 Host helpful on arrival but no.nearby parking so either drop.off stuff and find a space or park and walk. There are parking spaces out side but not enough for all Guests I was tired after journey. There is a list to book.your time for breakfast as they only do two rooms at a time.  This is renewed every day
 Breakfast is in a pleasant room down a flight of steps. There are also four steps to get into Hotel
A selection.of cereals, pastries yoghurt fruit etc to.help.your self
.breakfast was usual full.English. with plenty of toast tea or coffee
 It was fine..  Hotel is come and go as you please.  Clean comfortable drink.making facilities
 Found en suite small and room quite compact but it might have been a smaller room as I was travelling solo
 Comfortable double bed
 Quiet and within.easy  walking distance of sea front Pier and Great Orme
A pleasant stay as weather excellent

Long weekend

A lovely B&B! Clean and always smells fresh on return after a day out! Good breakfasts await every morning cooked by Richard and Melissa was a great hostess tending to our needs.
The room was clean and we could ask for fresh towels if we wanted and anything else.
