Had a fabulous stay at Arden house in Linthigow.  What a find.
Room was amazing very tastefully done. Comfortable bed.  Some lovely little touches. Home made tablet, shortbread beautifully presented in little crystal dishes!! Beautiful bathroom Immaculate.
Breakfast something  else and plenty of it .  Beth and John excellent hosts.  Very welcoming and friendly.
No hesitation in recommending this little treasure in a beautiful peaceful location.

A little treasure.

This was a little hidden gem and glad we found it, the hosts were lovely  and nothing is a problem for them, the badgers den was beautiful  and extreamly well kept, the area is just beautiful and its so quiet, highly recommended,  we shall be using this place again when visiting  family , hopefully  I can spy a badger next time. Thanks very  much  for our stay.

Our favorite place to stay on our 12 day trip.   The room was great, wonderfully comfortable bed and cozy duvet.  And the hosts were so friendly and helpful.  We are not usually B&B folks, but this was the perfect stay.
Breakfasts were special here too. 
Definitely would stay here again if we return to Scotland.

We have recently returned from 2 separate one night stays here after selecting Arden based on the excellent Tripadvisor reviews as our stop off point on our recent visit to Skye. We were very pleased with our selection. Property is a few miles outside Linlithgow, meaning it was very peaceful. Hosts were very friendly and generous, with nothing seeming to be any trouble for them. Our room was large and spotlessly clean, with excellent facilities with a few nice additional touches. Breakfast was plentiful and of very good quality. Arden proved to be an excellent choice and we would not hesitate to stay here again if we are in the area or on our way further north. Many thanks

A first class experience

Excellent 2 night stay in the self catering apartment.

Scenic location, very well appointed, host a pleasure to deal with.

10 minute drive to Linlithgow (check out Burgh Halls and Linlithgow Palace) - Edinburgh, Dundee, St Andrews and the Fife coast all within easy reach.

Linlithgow Wedding

My partner and I had an excellent visit to Arden Country House.  The hosts were very warm and welcoming; nothing was too much hassle. The rooms are spotlessly clean and very spacious.  The highlight of our visit had to breakfast, the menu caters to everyone and the host was happy to tweak any of the dishes to our liking.  The food itself was delicious!

We would highly recommend this B&B to anybody visiting the Linlithgow area.

Fantastic Stay!

Absolutely gorgeous guest house. Really lovely and clean. Room was huge with a super king bed and fantastic shower! The house grounds were immaculate and lovely scenic views over the countryside. The hosts were fantastic- very friendly and nothing was too much effort for them. Can't wait until our next stay!

Superb Stay

Arden Country House has been at the top of our list ever since we discovered this wonderful B&B on our second visit to Scotland.  This was our fifth stay at Arden, and the only "updated" comment I can make is that it is as beautiful and peaceful as ever, and Beth is still the soul of hospitality.

I'm running out of superlatives!

This is a beautiful modern home located in the countryside surrounded by rolling green hills and sheep. We stayed for two nights and my wife and I both loved this place. Beth is  a wonderful host and an excellent cook. Her breakfast and snacks can't be beat. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. This place is a wonderful alternative to staying in Edinburgh. There are lots of things to see and do nearby. My wife said she would return to Scotland just to stay at Arden Country House again. We met another guest who said they had been visiting the place for over 20 years and lived with 100 miles. Hopefully we can return someday.

Favorite B&B on our two week trip

Just had 2 excellent nights here at Arden House while visiting the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo. What a superb place and area to stay from the first welcome from Beth the owner to the time we left. Our room was excellent with a huge bed and top notch decor. The bathroom again was huge with plenty of room to move about. Breakfast was cooked by Beth and again was superb with plenty of choice either hot or cold and cooked to your liking. Everything on the menu was locally sourced and tasted fantastic. The area surrounding the house was peaceful and idyllic with plenty of space to view. Beth the landlady was very friendly and informative and we could see why she has been nominated in the Landlady of the year and why Arden Country House has received so many rewards. It definitely is credit to the hardwork of Beth and her family/friends as we cannot recommend this B&B enough. We will be back time and time again.
