The most perfect wedding. We feel so lucky to have hosted our three day wedding at ML. It was perfect. The venue, the staff - just amazing. We found ML through a photographer we were following & called to enquire about hosting our wedding there. The staff are so incredibly friendly & inviting that our first impressions were very good. We were invited to visit & were very impressed with the estate. It’s a cross between Babbington House & Soho Farmhouse although we think it’s better than both as it offers so much. We went for a wedding in the main house / marquee with the after party in the incredible cellar bar of the main house which is like a mini Cross for those that remember the iconic London nightclub. ML has a dedicated wedding planning team to help you plan your perfect wedding & a few months out you are assigned one of the team who then oversees the delivery and is ever present on the wedding day to make sure all runs smoothly. They liaise with all the suppliers and it’s done incredibly well. We had Anna who was amazing as well as Laura who was the catering manager. We held our wedding over three days with events Friday night & Sunday (fun day) either side of our Saturday wedding. We had the perfect three days. Stress free thanks to the hard work of Anna, Laura and their teams. We can’t recommend this gem of a venue highly enough. Thanks to all the staff at ML for making our dreams a reality. Andrew & Lisa

Wedding at Middleton Lodge

This place is far more than a hotel, it has so many different room options, restaurants and weddings banquet areas
It is maintained to the very highest standard
We had a different room this time , so we have stayed in three different areas of the estate
All our visits the rooms have been superb 
Excellent lunch in the coach house it was really good
Breakfast was very good indeed the quality ingredients used make it a very good start to the day
Staff make the place 
We can not recommend this place enough
The new spa is the best we have seen

I went to Middleton Lodge with my partner to celebrate his birthday. We spent the entire day at the spa, which we truly loved. The spa's cozy and tranquil atmosphere was enhanced by the snow that fell when we visited. The facilities in the spa are great and I feel it is really worth the money. From checking into the hotel to dining at the Coach House and the spa, every employee at Middleton Lodge was excellent. We really appreciate Lucy at the spa, who took care of us and helped to make our day there unforgettable. Our accommodation was lovely and well-kept. The one small drawback, in my opinion, is that it wasn't very well lit when we walked from our accommodation to the Coach House for our dinner. Nevertheless, our food was gorgeous and our breakfast was delicious too. I would definitely visit Middleton Lodge again as we had a fantastic time.

A wonderful and wintery stay at Middleton Lodge.

I paid for an afternoon weekend spa package for me and my mam, and woah! The day was absolutely amazing! At first I thought my god at the £170pp price but honestly money well spent! It was so luxurious, on arrival we got seated to fill out our lunch options and fill out some info to be greeted by the receptionist with a fantastic complimentary drink of what I presume was berries ( it was so nice!) 

We then got given each a robe, towel and some flip flops to change into, we got changed straight away and went to view the facilities, we tried them all! the hot tub, the heated swimming pool, sauna, steam room, even braved the plunge pool! All were fantastic, out in the hot tub we were greeted by a member of staff who asked if she could get us any drinks to which we did and brought them straight out to us! Nothing was a bother and she was herself very lovely! 

With the package you get a 2 course lunch which was fantastic! Very well presented and very tasty, 10/10!!! 

We used the facilities some more until our included treatment Time, then we were greeted by the ladies to give us our treatments, I chose the Indian head massage whilst my mum opted for a facial, both were amazing and both ladies were lovely, the treatments were so relaxing and you could almost fall asleep with the atmosphere, afterwards we were taken to a quiet lounge area where presented on separate boards were a cup of tea, some lemon water and some frozen grapes and a little protein chocolate as the sunset came about we sat peacefully sipping the tea and water and eating the grapes, it felt like a dream! 

We are already in talks about our next visit! Would highly recommend the Forest spa you will not be disappointed one bit!

10/10!!

This place is magical, arrived about 3:30 & our room was ready, the Dog house suite was located near the entrance, we drove back up to our cute cottage looking building and parked up, the room was lovely, the view outside was to the gardens where apple & pear trees where all around. The bath hot tub was excellent, turn the taps & filled pretty quickly. The forest spa was unbelievable, we had the twilight spa booked & arrived for 5:30, it was a Monday & we pretty much we had the spa to ourselves, was gorgeous, weather wasn’t great but why avoid the rain when your wet anyway. Made it more fun. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco & nibbles which we eat in the jacuzzi while we were covered from the rain. Then onto our 2 course evening meal at the coach house, this was excellent, the staff were amazing & brought a happy birthday plate for my husband. We enjoyed ever bit of our visit. We will be back, luckily for us it’s just a 30 minute drive. 

A special birthday surprise

We visited today for a family Birthday and the visit was fantastic!. We all opted for a Sunday lunch option , and as 3 of the party have allergies we did check at the time of reservation that they would be catered for. We certainly were not disappointed!. All the staff that dealt with our table were friendly, efficient and no question was too insignificant. As we had already prewarmed of allergies they were very aware of what we could order and how it could be adjusted if needed. The food was excellent quality and was hot and tasted delicious. We also had puddings which were Sticky toffee ((DF/GF), and a delicious crumble with Vanilla custard which was amazing!. The dining area was well spaced, and very peaceful and quiet perfect for my son who has additional needs. Would thoroughly recommend if you are looking for a great dining experience. 

Amazing!!!. 

We have just returned from 2 amazing nights at Middleton Lodge.  We stayed in Dairy 3 with an outdoor tub and an indoor copper bath. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. We ate at The Coach House each evening and the food was outstanding.  We also really enjoyed our breakfast each day and were more than satisfied with the continental selection and the hot option.  The grounds are extensive and we also enjoyed the woodland walk.  The walled garden is magnificent and it’s so good to see much of the produce used by the kitchen. We will definitely return!

Simply fabulous!

From the very beginning things were perfect. We arrived on a bitterly cold afternoon and expected the signalling lady to open the window to her hut a fraction to call out some instructions. Instead Diane was out in a flash, battling the extreme cold to give the information we needed (to access reception etc) without the slightest sign of discomfort to herself. A big smile and lots of welcome. Admirable! Emily at reception was very pleasant and helpful, located in a most charming, relaxed space with excellent lighting and colour, signalling the character of the overall establishment.  Our own room within the Foundry did not disappoint being equally charming. Beautifully furnished, everything suggested pampering, relaxation, quality and character set within the most beautiful landscaped surroundings. We loved the warmth of the underfloor heating, luxurious bedding and comfort afforded by the beautiful bath. Impeccably clean and very tastefully furnished. The Coach House Restaurant was excellent. Shane offered recommendations for our evening meals that never failed to hit the mark. To be greeted by Becky at breakfasts was an absolute delight. Engaging, enigmatic and beautifully turned out, she is an absolute credit to the establishment. Well done Middleton Lodge Estate for getting every thing so right!

Excellent hotel with outstanding team provides 1st class stay

This was our 2nd visit and again we were not disappointed. On arrival we were greeted by friendly reception staff and allocated our room. On this occasion we had a cosy coach house room which was spacious and well equipped. We eat at the restaurant that evening and WOW the food is amazing and the evening staff very polite, friendly and very attentive. Breakfast that morning again WOW very tasty and plentiful.

Would we visit again🤔
Definitely we have already book for December in the Tack room, cannot wait

The decor, the service, the restaurant. The food is out of this world. It really is.
We had a fantastic time with out two teen boys. Will definitely be back. The attention to detail is second to none
