Perfect B &B at end of day hiking the West Highland Way.  Just off the trail, on a primary road, but very quiet (think all of Kinlochleven is quiet).  Very solicitous service from nice folks.  The rooms are right next door to the pub and restaurant, which both provide great service and fine food.  Nice little seating area outside to rest after a day of hiking.  Would definitely go back if in the area.

Great B & B just off West Highland Way

The warmest welcome, spotlessly clean room and the best breakfast on the West Highland Way.  The balcony bar was a jaw dropper.  The staff at this accommodation could not do enough for two weary travellers.

What a find...

We had an excellent stay for one night at the Highland Getaway for our wedding anniversary. A welcoming rest after completing part of the WHW. The food was delicious and the staff were more than accomodating for us.

Perfect Anniversary Stay

This hotel was amazing. Really can't say enough enough about it. Very modern, bright, and exceptionally clean room. The shower, oh my god, what a shower! We'd go back just for that! ☺️ .  Also, a nice wee touch on the tea/coffee tray were wine glasses and a corkscrew, not that we needed them but felt it was very thoughtful.
The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. 
The breakfast was fantastic and cooked to perfection. We didn't have an evening meal in the bar, but the food brought out for other diners looked lovely.
We would definitely recommend this hotel if you're thinking about staying in this area. We certainly will be back.

Would definitely recommend!

It's been a while since we've stayed at the 'Highland Getaway' due to Cov'd and we couldn't wait to go back. Our bedroom was immaculate and overlooked the river with the snow covered mountains in the background, the decor and furnishings were first class. The food was out of this world, my wife and I both had the 'Feather Blade of Beef' which went down a treat and breakfast couldn't have been nicer. Kate, Hugh and Michelle really know how to treat their guests and we can't wait too go back.

All Round Perfection

Arrived after a very long leg of the WHW, a real treat to find that the room was spacious, warm and comfortable, and had a bath! The room was very well equipped including a bottle opener and wine glasses for those wanting to take a little tipple in the room. There were recycling bins and other visible efforts made to support the environment which were pleasing. The staff were so friendly, asking about our walk and if there was anything else we needed, we were made to feel very welcome. would definitely recommend staying here.   

Very Welcoming 

We ate here twice today ( lunchtime and dinner) staying at a B&B nearby. The food is superb. Simple, homely and delicious. Such lovely welcoming people. Even when we appeared freezing cold and tired from freezing rain on the mountain, they made a mug of hot tea and delicious bowls of hot soup. We enjoyed the range of beers too.

West Highland Way trip

We stayed at this hotel for one night as part of our West Highland Way walk. Our room was very clean, quite spacious, and had a lovely view of the river. We even had a large bathtub, not just a shower, which was a treat after a long day of hiking. The staff was very nice, from the young lady who checked us in to the restaurant staff who waited on us at breakfast.

Clean and Comfortable

Had a lovely stay here as part of our West Highland Way trip. We had a garden room which had an amazing view of the surrounding mountains and a place to eat as the sun set. The room was comfortable and quiet. The best part was the hospitality of the staff who couldn't have done enough to make your stay welcoming and comfortable. Best breakfast we had on our travels too. 

Brilliant wee place 

As part of our West Highland Way walk we stayed here for one night. The room was great and the shower water output was one of the best I have ever used. Incredibly good! Our dinner at the Inn was equally good. It was served with several vegetables which is a first along our walk. My wife had the Cottage Pie and was impressed with the flavor. I had the Beef Blade and it was also very good. The wait staff was quite accommodating and helpful. In addition, the prices were reasonable. One of the best stays on our walk from Milngavie. We would certainly recommend this place.
