Fantastic apartments. We stayed at apartment number 2. Modern, well equipped and a great location close the the main square. High quality appliances (smeg) and absolutely immaculate. Angela was lovely and really friendly. We’ll definitely be back.

Fantastic apartments, we'll be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at Howe Keld 2 and that is an understatement.  The flat was spacious, comfortable and equipped and furnished to very high standard.  It is also in a great location within easy walking distance of Hope Park, the lake, the town centre and the Convention Centre, which was our main purpose for holidaying in Keswick.  Angela, the live-in manager, was very friendly and helpful.  In all we had a wonderful, relaxing time and will be booking again.  The car parking space was great too.

Comfortable and Relaxing

The ground-floor apartment is absolutely superb  The owners have spared no expense in quality fixtures, fittings and decoration. Everything you could ever need for self-catering was provided. You really do get what you pay for.
Special praise for the site manager Angela was helpful throughout our stay and provided additional items on request. 
The only issue is the very, very tight on-site parking and although there are three parking spaces it is not easy to use (unless you have a very, very small car). But there is free parking right outside the apartment (4pm-10am), unlimited along a road 50 metres away and there is also a paid-for car park very close.
The apartment is just a few minutes walk from the heart of Keswick and less than 10 minutes from Derwentwater. Great location.
Despite the parking issue, I could not recommend this accommodation more highly - it's the best my wife and I have ever stayed in.

Absolutely Superb

My husband and I are delighted to recommend this B&B to anyone hoping to experience the best that Keswick has to offer.

Laura and Jerome worked diligently to ensure that we were well looked after throughout our honeymoon visit to the Lake District. The room was clean and well presented, the breakfast was so very delicious. And man that bed was comfortable!

Howe Keld is ideally located for a leisurely walk around Derwentwater followed by a cheerful jaunt into Keswick, making the most of their delightful restaurants and welcoming pubs.

A spectacular honeymoon

Thank you to Laura, Jerome and their whole team for making our stay so special! We loved our stay and we can’t wait to return. Location, cleanliness, comfort, decor has all exceeded our expectations. The food? OMG, absolutely delicious, cooked to perfection, fresh, enough to kickstart your day and beautifully presented. I have nothing to fault really! Everything was taken care of! We stayed in room 1 on the ground floor. We initially had some concerns over being next to the dining area, but our concerns soon faded away, we heard nothing at all. Although we had to keep reminding ourselves to ensure to pull blind down/draw curtains so we were not seen coming out of shower short on clothing. But privacy blinds and thick curtains are provided to solve this. We have agreed that we would request the same room when we returned for our next stay :-) of course if possible. Now the challenging part is to try and find availability :-)

Warning! You will not want to leave!

Howe Keld is a superb B&B, warm & friendly hosts Laura & Jerome ready to help in any way. 

Bedrooms are of extremely high standard, comfortable, beautifiully decorated.
We very much appreciated having fresh milk daily in mini milk bottles available in our own small fridge.  

The breakfast was delicious, cooked to order, beautifully presented, lots of choice and excellent service.

We would thoroughly recommend Howe Keld, a perfect stay, only a few minutes from all amenities of Keswick & Derwentwater but in a quiet location.

Everything about Howe Keld is of the highest standard and we look forward to another stay in this lovely B&B.

Beautiful B&B in every way

We stayed 2 nights at this amazing B&B (room 11). Laura and Jerome were so welcoming and ready to help with advice or recommendations. The room was perfect and everything looked brand new. The B&B itself was of a similar high class. Breakfast was cooked to order and was the best presented and tasty breakfast I can remember having. It is located a few minutes walk from the centre of town and Derwentwater, so is a great location but also quiet. A simply perfect stay, and one I look forward to doing next time I travel to Keswick.

Excellent accommodation and team

Location is excellent, a short walk to the lake shore and to the ferry, and also to shops and restaurants. Howe Keld is welcoming, very comfortable and extremely high standards of hospitality (the breakfasts are delicious) and cleanlineness. This was our second stay, and once again we thoroughly enjoyed it.  Last year we came with friends who had previously stayed there, and this time we brought other friends. We will certainly be booking again.

Perfect place to stay in Keswick

Our first stay here and was so pleased we chose it. Can not fault the accommodation, comfy bed, lovely modern bathroom, hair dryer, tea/coffee making equipment with fresh milk provided as you check in. Breakfast was delicious, and dare I say too much for me because I couldn't finish it all, but it really set you up for a good walk. We found the restaurants in Keswick busy after a tiring day so we appreciated being able to bring back a take- away and use our designated table to eat it at later in the day.
It is in a good location because you are a short walk from two parks which lead you to Derwentwater and it's about 5 mins walk to the bus station, and to the main street to explore the town.
 Laura and Jerome were welcoming and friendly, without making any fuss and I can recommend it for a lovely stay.

Great short break

This B&B is fantastic. Perfect location - 5 min walk to the centre of town to bars and restaurants and 5 min walk to the lake. All with free parking too! The room was spacious, modern, nicely decorated and extremely clean. It had everything we needed including a fan thank you! Breakfast was lovely, there was lots of choice, and the service was impeccable. I would 100% recommend this place to all my friends and family and will definitely stay here again if we return to keswick.
