Booked this in January 2023 to go to a festival. Room was dated and plenty of cobwebs. No milk or even the little UHT for a cuppa. Shower temperature was so hot you couldn’t stand under it. No shower gel or shampoo in the room not even small bottles. When I booked I asked for 2 single beds but there was the smallest double bed I’ve ever seen. No breakfast which I did not know until we walked downstairs and heard and saw nobody so left straight away. False advertising if it says B&B but no breakfast? Too much money for just a room and will not be booking again. 

Over priced, no breakfast 

Awful experience, worst of my 44 years. 

I was sold a garden cabin with private terrace, instead I received a smokey room in Bridge House (not the Oak Rooms we paid for).

They refused to answer door bell, door knocking and on the phone to booking.com said they denied any wrong doing as they had upgraded us??? How is an upgrade 30% less in value. 

When I couldn’t sleep as my throat and sinus were inflamed by the smoke, I continued to knock on their door so they called the police. 

I don’t know what they said to the police but 3 cars, 5 officers and a dog unit attended the scene. 

All because I was miss sold a room and couldn’t sleep in pig sty the called and upgrade.

If you don’t care about smoking, room allocation of cleanliness this place is a good deal, if you want what you paid for (non smoking cabin) do f dare complain, they will call the police on you and not answer your calls, knocks or messages.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE

We decided last minute to have a weekend break in Norfolk and we were so pleased that we chose Bridge House.  Our very spacious double room with en-suite was well presented, coffee/tea was plentiful and the fridge was a real bonus.  Tony was most pleasant, on hand to offer assistance and local advice. The set up is a little quirky and this is not a criticism, Tony really is putting his heart and soul into this place, if he is not looking after guests he is cutting hair in the proper barbers chair or he is out working at the boat shed by the river.  Well done Tony see you again soon.

Great Accommodation

I booked for one night , the double bedded room , i thought was lovely and clean very pleased , comfy bed . Its a real shame staying over, was the room was really cold  when i turned up later in the evening, the heating did not come on until early morning could not sleep with no heat , also went to use the shower and it was only one temperature boiling red hot , could not adjust the temp so could not have a shower . also no breakfast . Its a shame otherwise its a lovely place to stay . Disappointing to not have a breakfast when on the photos you can see breakfast . The owner was very friendly , its such a shame with the comments i put above otherwise would of been great

Fantasitc bandb! The owner tony was really friendly, lovley green out front to have a kick about with the kids and on a beautiful river bank will definatly be back in the summer when a paddle boarding hut will be built for paddleboard and boat renting. Cant wait!

Couple days away with family.

On Sunday 22nd August i phoned the hotel direct ( as advised ) and the manager confirmed he had 2 rooms available for the following Thursday.
A 10/15 minute conversation followed where I stated we were a party of 6 ( 2 adults , 4 children ) in transit and  MOST IMPORTANTLY we were travelling with our life limited little girl who is fed on a drip and we needed a fridge to store 4 nights feed. This was all agreed by the owner and he took my credit card details and confirmed the booking.
On arrival on the Thursday ( at about 5pm ) after a 200 mile journey there was no one to meet us. Contacting the owner by telephone he informed us we had no booking. When I reminded him of our conversation he then proceeded to bluster a response and continually change his story as to why we had no booking. The bottom line is he'd obviously double booked us and was not brave enough to admit it. At no stage was there a shred of empathy or sympathy . We ended up luckily finding a solitary room 20 miles away at a cost of £500, without which the results could of been catastrophic.
I wish I'd read the reviews first, but I didn't . The owner is rude, conceited and incapable of telling the truth. 
Looking at other reviews I'm guessing he'll deny it all but I swear on my Angel's life this is the truth....he doesn't deserve your custom.

Please read before booking....unbelievable experience !!

I had to stay here due to all the others in the area  being fully booked for a recent family get together . OMG I don’t know where to start !!!!!  
Firstly the  cost …….. at £137 a night per room it’s £47 a night more then the nearest pub ( which is fabulous )  and £67 to the next and mind blowingly £2 more then the starting prices of the 4star Manor House hotel (and spa… set in beautiful grounds ) half a mile away ….. which is beyond superb ……. Hmmm 🤔 sorry Tony no comparison. !!!! 
The position is very good and you can park in the courtyard … on entering you are confronted with a barbers shop on the left and on the right millions of (2016?? seriously 😳  sort that one  out ) leaflets of local activities . The general impression is of unpleasant cluttered grubbiness , when we went it had no resemblance to the pictures shown  on the internet !!  The rooms have had lockdown love and have been ‘dollied’up …..  and then you come to  the no breakfast !!!!!! That’s  ok as long as it’s reflected in the price , sadly at the Bridge House  hotel it’s not ….. I most definitely will not be returning

Unbelievably overpriced £137 …. Avoid it

Found this on THIS website - was slightly frustrated at the price - £137 - but it seemed ok. 

The room does not deserve that price with many issues -  no towels provided, extension cable across threshold to bathroom to power tv, no breakfast - room simply needs updating

Charging a lot - offering little

Didnt get to go due to covid but after numerous phone calls from owner glad I didnt go. Not LGBT friendly infact I'd say blatantly transphobic an very unprofessional in the manner in which they contacted and treated me over the phone..verging on criminal behaviour in regards a hate crime..steer clear if you fall into the LGBT category.

I wanted to visit Norfolk but in a fairly quiet location, and we could take a little drive out to the seaside ! 
We stumbled upon this bnb in cortishall, Which was absolutely perfect ! We stayed in one of the chalets, just for the night, I wished we could of had another night ! 
Drove into a few little places which were all local lovely pubs, highly recommend this hidden little gem ! 
Well it was for us so Thanku
