Southview

Southview is a very well appointed B&B close to the Wensleydale Creamery attraction and within an easy walk to Hawes main street, with its shops, pubs Cafes and Post Office (computers for a small fee). As in most of the Dales towns and villages parking can be a hassle but if one parks in the Southview onsite parking area and walk to the main street one can avoid the hassle and cost of parking. My single room was well appointed with the usual Tea and Coffee facilities, night noise was non existent, very quiet except for the sheep and small lambs in the adjacent fields. For the price, a very well appointed B&B owned and operated by a very helpful Yorkshire couple. An excellent cooked to order breakfast one pre orders in the evening and which is served in a very pleasant breakfast room with a large shared table and a small table for the single traveler like me. Of course Hardaw Falls, Ribblehead Viaduct and Asgarth Falls and others are all within a short drive. Highly recommended.
