Absolutely amazing went on 13th july with my partner and son. Everything was gorgeous and absolutely loved the chicken shish. I used to holiday in turkey it was just like being back there. Thankyou for our dessert too we will definitely be back

We have been coming to The Wellow in Cleethorpes for a 3 course Christmas Works Party for the last 5 years, and this year was way above anything we have experienced there before. The meal has always been good and the staff helpful (thats why we reutn) but this year WOW.

The food was not like a 3 course meal deal it was delicious, everyone cleared there plate (25 of us), the staff are friendly and helpful and nothing was too much.

Huge thank you to the Chef, Staff and Graham for looking after us, we will see you in 2023 for our next one

Went in to watch the England game, staff friendly and service was quick especially with how busy it was. Only negative is the toilets have been closed a few times lately when I’ve been In. The best beer garden in Cleethorpes though and very good price for food and drink.

Staff were excellent. Johnathon with his luscious locks had great banter! Jack on bar served me with amazing charisma. Really made my day. I wasn’t expecting the experience i got but the atmosphere of the staff on at the time really made my day brighter

Sam and aliyah also added to the vibe. I asked for all there names specifically to leave a review on them they deserve it!

Food was great value. Got the chicken sandwhich and was stuffed! Followed up with a cheesecake kebab which was a surprising treat, made by johnathon. He did a great job!

Considering staying a weekend in cleethorpse in the future and I’ll definitely be coming back to the wellow

We came as a large family on the 22nd of March for a last minute birthday meal, Rachel showed us to our table and continued to be a fab host, nothing was to much trouble for her. Can't wait to come back!

Visited with family, server Rachel was very good, polite and nothing was too much trouble, always smiling. Makes a big difference when staff treat you with respect, credit to the hungry horse. Definitely recommend will return soon

Alysha was a top bird, attended to our needs as our chicken wings were slightly undercooked ! She took them back to kitchen while zooming us, so we could tell her when they had attained the correct browning and crispy texture that we loved. Kole the bar man was very attentive and took us through the large range of gins on offer and helped us select 16 different and delicious concoctions. We left at midnight slightly worst for wear, but very happy 😃

Went here for drinks and a meal for my 30th birthday and the food was excellent. We had a party of 11  and all the food came out at the same time, which is rare for a big party!

Graham,  Ash and Kieran were excellent. 

In short,  great food,  great service and a great atmosphere. 

10/10 would eat again🙋‍♂️🎉

Absolutely fantastic, first time in for a fair few months and not a bad word to say, pub was steady flowing with plenty of customers but the food only took about 25 minutes to arrive. Accompanied really well by normal draft larger and green kings IPA, all served by Jack the barman, who not only remembered our round but advised on the menu options with great knowledge, some might even say super human. I'd almost go as far as to say the most switched on bartender in Lincolnshire. Thanks, will return.

What a lovely afternoon we had visiting the wellow with our family, we had Ellie and jack serve us and they was very polite and helpful.
Food was lovely, piping hot couldn’t fault it great value for money especially when they have deals on everyday will definitely be returning

My 30th Birthday

Went for lunch with a group of eight friends.  Lovely big round table.  The food was quickly and pleasantly served.  It was very tasty  plus the bill was nice and  low. For group of chatty, may be supercritical women what more do you want.  I think we'll be returning soon 😁

Friendly food, friendly bill!

For only £40 a night; this was an absolute bargain for a quick overnight stop as we had travelled for a family event. 
The room was spacious, clean, had a double bed, bunk beds and a travel cot too. There was an extra small travel heater so we could warm up the room quickly considering it was so cold outside.
Parking was free you just had to enter your reg at the bar (I’m not sure why people below have had an issue with that?) it was pretty straightforward.

The only real con was the shower pressure, the water kept turning itself off unless we held the shower head down lower in the bath (a sit down vs a stand up shower ended up happening) but for one night we made do.
