My husband, myself had a double at the back, with a sea view, and nieces  from Australia had a twin room at the front.  There weren't rules and regulations plastered all over the place, as the b&b we stayed in Glastonbury the night before did!  Paul met us as Tina was taking the dogs for a walk, but she came to say hello as soon as she returned. 

The rooms had plenty of space, and were homely, not sterile and corporate hotel looking.  The food was freshly cooked, even the fruit platters our nieces had, had been cut specifically for them and not sitting in a bowl of juice from which they had to help themselves. One of them is a vegan, and had the choice of various types of milk and cereals for breakfast, along with other foods that she could eat.

Please don't be put off by talk of fitness and training:  I am an overweight woman, getting on in years, and I wasn't made to feel ill at ease, in fact, quite the contrary and had I been of younger years, I would have flattering my eyelashes at Paul!  We had chats discussing how Tina and Paul started their business and about life in general.  Nice to meet a couple  who really enjoy what they are doing.

There are two hotels/restaurants just five minutes walk away:  one quite up market and new, the other more sort of pub grub, but both were good.  The beach with cafes on is not much further.  It's near enough to walk to town, but we were quite happy with the nearby restaurants.

A great time and we will definitely be back for a longer stay.  Thanks Tina and Paul.

Lovely big rooms,  spotlessly clean,  homely b&b, near to the beach and restaurants, but quiet.

The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was great. The idea to fill out a form is inspired, we tried 4 different breakfasts during the week, all of which were superb. Paul is a personal trainer, as well as a great chef, so we joined his boot camp and took advice on coastal walks. We leave with aches in places we didn't know we had. Tina was very welcoming and a lovely hostess. A thoroughly enjoyable experience, you'd be hard pushed to find a better B&B in Bude. We will return.

Look no further

Lovely fresh bedroom, with large shower room, shower excellent, very easy to operate. Comfy bed, you can hear a little  noise from the room next door, but not enough to be a problem. Parking available right outside the property, and on road parking which is great. 
Lovely  cooked breakfast, the Host is a former Chef. Good location, can walk to the canal in about 15mins around the coastal path which is lovely, an see the beaches along the way. Bude is lovely will definitely be going back soon.

Spotlessly clean.

We were very lucky to book a room at Mordros for an impromptu overnight stop in Bude. Tina was very welcoming when we arrived and we were given a very pleasant room with a large bathroom. There was a very comprehensive guide to  Bude incl restaurants, pubs, bus services etc. I couldn't see a problem with the ticklist that another reviewer complained about. The breakfast was prepared and served by Paul who was very sociable and friendly. The breakfast was excellent with a delicious fruit plate to start followed by a very well cooked full English with toast, nice preserves and very good coffee. Another guest had pancakes which she confirmed were delicious. Mordros is very close to Crooklets beach from which there is a superb walk to the North when the tide is out(but don't get caught out). It is also an easy walk into town.
We had a long talk with Paul after breakfast and I can only assume that the issues raised by the previous reviewer were of his own and his son's making. Mordros has three guest bedrooms on the same floor and they probably woke up all the guests by making a lot of noise at 1 am- totally inconsiderate. I'm not surprised that Paul was not impressed by this.

Great B and B

Me and my son stayed here.  The lady was very friendly but the guy less so.  Form filling for breakfast seems extreme.  Most people want english breakfast not sure why you need a form!!  Beds very very soft, toilets noisey.  The mab had an issue that we were late back about 1am and was talking.. Sorry for having fun.  Then as we were leaving had a go at my son.  Calls himself a man... Really
