The staff were incredibly attentive to our needs. Nothing was too much trouble, they far surpassed our expectations.
Absolutely loved the retro decor and cosy feel of the property.
We had a wonderful weekend and would happily return.


Great stay 

I travel quite a bit around the uk for work purposes and this is one of the best guest houses I have stayed at , don’t normally do reviews but felt the need to on this occasion. Lovely owners very welcoming and polite, room was immaculate , I would highly recommend staying here.

Great guest house

A lovely warm comfortable guest house. We were pleasantly surprised.  The owner was so welcoming and eager to please.
Gorgeous room with a lovely big bed and SO clean.  Tea and Coffee on hand and easy parking.  There was so much attention to detail given.

Smashing place to stay.

I can not find a single negative thing to say, Ann and Dave made us so welcome, we were fed and watered given such a lovely welcome and rooms were sorted so we could be next to each other

The afternoon tea, and glass of wine made me feel very welcome and plenty of friendly chat and help with our luggage was fantastic. All precautions were taken by the guesthouse owners and I felt safe and secure in these strange times we are living in. A bit of normality and definately somewhere I would return to next year. Thank you Ann and Dave you are fab xx

Parc Lodge Brigend

Great reception from a truly lovely hardworking couple. Nothing was too much trouble. They even offered to run us to our party as the taxi got lost. It was like staying with friends. Nice room. Big bed! Fabulous breakfast.

Family party weekend

Had an amazing stay here for the night with my partner and two children we were treated as if we were family! Anne and David are lovely people and great hosts, rooms were clean and comfortable it was a hot day so we were provided with fans for the rooms and also given numerous bottles of water which was very kind and appreciated 
In the children’s room they had 2 complimentary Easter eggs and Capri suns
Which was a lovely touch 
Breakfast included in price was lovely and Anne couldn’t do enough for you 
Will definitely be returning in the future

Wow!!! what a lovely find 

We stayed here whilst doing the dragon ride 2017. Anne and David did everything they could to make us feel at home, even to providing amazing porridge the day of our ride (at silly o'clock!). When I'm back this way I would love to go back. Highly recommend as a B&B.

Like going home

Lovely and comfortable room, great breakfast, very friendly.  Nothing was too much trouble. Would stay there again, very friendly people and nice quiet location. Would recommend for the price and convenience.

Lovely stay

Have just returned from our second at Parc Lodge in less than a month having wanted somewhere to stay whilst going to the rugby in Cardiff.  Without a doubt each time our stay was made extra special by the friendly, welcoming hosts and their team who really can't do enough for you.  Coming back a second time it really felt like it was home from home and we'd certainly return. 

Comfy room which was very clean, bath with shower in the en-suite, plenty of tea and coffee and fresh milk!! Tasty breakfast too. 

Thanks for your hospitality Ann and David and hope to see you again before too long!

Two Lovely Visits

Booked in for the rugby on Saturday 13 Feb , Arrived to a very friendly welcome and to find room very clean and well facilitated . We had to venture to Cardiff for the international and was given a lift to the local station by the owner , on our return being Valentine's weekend I found to my surprise a single red rose and a number of chocolates wishing me a happy valentine's (a very nice touch). Booked out the following morning after a superb full English breakfast both Dave and Anne couldn't have done anymore to make our stay any better would definitely recommend this guest house to anyone xxxx
