Found this little hotel on the off chance and was amazed once entering and having met the owner.
First impressions i would give this hotel 10/10 for cleanliness,hygiene,decor,wifi,cable channels,bed and room comfortability,great black out curtains,excellent water facilities and tea/coffee facilities in room. Only downfall is that you can hear other guests as the go in and out through room doors.
Had a brilliant few days stay here and throughly felt at home, great location minutes walk from beach and town centre. Would highly recommend and definitely will be returning. 
Host is a well mannered, polite and helpful gentleman, thank you for having me ak. Wishing your business all the success. Really don't meet genuinely lovely individuals like yourself often in the hotel business!

Beautiful hidden little gem

On arrival to St. Michaels road, I  checked a few hotels out but wasn't that fussed, until I got to the Topaz Hotel. I was met by the Manager, Ahmed, who was very pleasant indeed, and in an instant, I was booked, and afforded, excellent service, from then on in. I had a couple of bad days, with sickness & injury, but my stay was great, largely down to Ahmed, who catered for my every need and more. Initially, I was only staying for 3 days,,, but,,,, just kept adding, and now, I am on my 12th night, but go home tomorrow, pretty down, because I just want to stay here now,,, forever. Ahmed, has been brilliant throughout,,, showing genuine integrity, trust, firmness, but moreso a very very social demeanour and personality, that has made me book again, for 10 days in July. I have travelled all over the world, and have been to many hotels in Bournemouth, and I can honestly say, that I have never been treated better, than by Ahmed, who is a shining example of how to connect with guests, plus, always being there for a chat. He has made me feel so welcome, so much so, I would dearly love to become his friend one day,,, because he just oozes class, all without fuss or arrogance,,, just the person that he is, and that to me is everything. I will be coming back to Bournemouth, and will never stay any where else but here, because it is meticulously clean, friendly, fair priced and has an ambience that cuts you off from the outside and just . I feel very safe here, and extremely happy, at the way I have been accommodated, and it really does pain me, to leave. Thank you Ahmed, you are a star, and the world needs people like you, to govern our well being,,,,,, well done mate,,, enjoy your own vacation,,, you deserve it pal,,,,, cheers, bobby.

Welllll, where do I start. I am down here in Bournemouth on business, and was looking for a decent hotel!

Thank you so much again to AK and his Team! I stayed at Topaz for 8 wks while working in Bournemouth and definitely enjoyed my stay. 

Great location, so close to the beach 2min walk on the Westcliff, car park available, kitchen facilities, long stay rates with weekly cleaning, all amenities, the owner is always approachable if you need anything. 

Thanks again and would not hesitate to stay with you again!

Great Stay

The rooms are small and dirty - do not use this hotel. I was overcharged on a number of occasions and kicked out without any prior warning and lost my deposit. The owner is a liar and thief. Food and other belongings often went missing. I would not recommend Topaz to my enemies.

Poor / unprofessional

I stayed here 3 years ago with my family we had a wonderful visit the owner was so welcoming. 
  Just tried to rebook a stay but I'm guessing it is under new management. The guy on the phone was unhelpful and rude. I was told there would be a room suitable for my family of four ( double bed and single ). Then I asked where the 4 member would sleep and he said well obviously this room is not suitable then. Well no. I'm not going to bring my own bed to stay in a hotel? No need to rude.
