Comfortable and spacious.Easy check in / out

Spent about a couple of minutes in the freezing wind before a gentle man came and gave me access to the property. The WiFi username pasted on the door was not showing up and the password obviously was useless. Please make sure you sort yourself out before going into your room because you may never get to see anyone if you get stuck.

The room was clean and tidy. All the facilities in the room worked and the hosts where friendly.I give it 10/10 my only small negative was the 4pm check in was a little late for us. Would stay again 100%.

Great location

The double bed mattress in Windermere room has lost its spring tension and I felt myself almost rolling out of bed

The quality of stay does not reflect the low price, I nearly didn't book to stay here because the room was so cheap but it was fantastic. The owners were very welcoming, it was clean, comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. The location made here an ideal base for my work in Barrow, will definitely stay here again.

Way nicer than the price suggests

Sophie and Luke are very nice personable people and very attentive and hard working 
Well done both 
There is  also lots to do in the area Ambleside, Grasmere, Cartmel, and several National trust properties

Enjoyable stay

Seeing the front of Nº19 building took me aback, I have to admit; but after entering the building I was delighted.
Our room appeared freshly decorated, it was scrupulously clean and comfortable. We slept well and enjoyed a good full breakfast promptly at 07:30 next morning, ready to be on our way.
I would happily book to stay there again in future, and I readily recommend Nº19 as a very good guest house indeed.

Behind a painted smile 

Such a lovely little guesthouse not to far away from lake Windermere.
Clean and comfortable for the price you pay although I felt our mattress and pillows weren’t to great ( Windermere room) the room however was lovely, spacey and equipped with an iron,hairdryer and  a kettle with tea & coffees  and a lovely bathroom with shower.
When you read the reviews about staying in places your always read how good or bad breakfast were, well number 19 definitely serves a lovely , tasty breakfast, which was 10/10 and the host was full of lo cal knowledge so that we could plan our day. 
Would recommend staying here, great value for money

Great stay

Fantastic overnight stay with my son, the owners were friendly and welcoming and the B&B was immaculate and very comfortable. Top notch breakfast in the morning and a great location for the safari zoo. We will definitely be back

Fantastic Stay

Sophie our host was lovely, very cheerful and gave us lots of insight in terms of what to do in the area.The breakfast was lovely, facilities were generally clean but the area is a bit noisy as it is adjacent to the road
