My dad booked us into Queens and myself and my family are always apprehensive about room size for 3 of us but this place did not disappoint. The room was lovely and spacious and we love little extras like shampoo and tea and biscuits. This is a lovely luxury that made us definitely say 5 star. The bar is so cosy and the drink is really affordable. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful large family room

I stayed in this charming guest house last week for one night on my own, as I was in Ayr to meet up with Family.  It was a lovely relaxing comfortable stay from the quick friendly check in to the same type of check out.  Jackson and Eileen who own it could teach the big hotel chains a thing or two.

Small double room with en-suite was superb and had a lovely view of the garden from the big beautiful sash window which was able to fully open, a bonus in the 30 degree heat. Room was clean and tidy with plenty of tea and coffee supplied along with good thick towels and quality toiletries, tourist info books, wifi, tv etc, everything you would expect and more. Also entrance and stairway very well carpeted and decorated and so welcoming. Perfect location yards from the beach too.

I enjoyed it so much I called to book for the weekend after next but as they were fully booked Jackson kindly gave me the tel nos of his two neighbouring guest houses and I got a good deal at one of them although they will have to be top notch to compete with Queens.

Very comfortable stay 10 out of 10!

Stayed in this wee terrace loads of  times and none of them disappoint Jackson and Eileen are great hosts at the queens guest house nothing is too much  trouble fantastic brekky and d 2 mins to town centre would definitely recommend  

Great weekend 

Welcoming friendly owners, lovely large comfortable room, good food, great location. We walked to an italian restaurant in town for dinner. Limited but welcome sea view from our room Cute dog which is always a bonus.

Friendly owners, great location

Me and a friend stayed here while doing exams in Ayr. The owner's were very friendly and made us feel welcome, our double single room was spacious and clean and the guest house was very well situated close to the beach and to the town. The breakfast was fantastic and they were able to make it for us earlier than normal as we had to leave for exams. All in all a very enjoyable stay and will definitely be back during the next set of exams.
