We were here with another couple and had a lovely evening . It was a friendly  atmosphere, Warm and cosy. Superb tasting food with great service and staff always friendly and always with a smile. Nothing was too much trouble.Can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommend

Perfect Hotel and setting

We booked for just one night the owner met us at reception  a very friendly person  the room was ideal it was equipped for my disabled husband. A great night sleep. Breakfast was cooked to order the sausage was out of this world overall brilliant breakfast

Brilliant

Nice room with a comfortable bed. Has a guest lounge in a smart, well maintained building.Positioned on the  outskirts of Aberystwyth town.  Offers a good choice of breakfast in an attractive dining room.

Nice hotel.

We stopped for one night on a motorcycle tour of wales. It is easy to find, has  plenty of parking and is very motorcycle friendly. 

We had a very warm welcome and help drying out very wet biker gear which was VERY much appreciated! Thank you! 

The follow up call made to us the room to check everything was in order and we were happy was a very nice touch.

The room was clean, comfortable and to a good standard. Breakfast was quite nice to so all in all a good place for a short stop. 

No evening meals are available so it is a taxi if you you want to go into town for a meal. We were told there were places to eat within a fifteen minute walk but we did not do this so cannot comment further on this aspect.

We would certainly use again if in the area.

Nice place

A small hotel on the south side of town. A 5 minute drive from the centre of Aberystwyth. Proprietors were welcoming and friendly. Spotless rooms with good quality towels and bedding. The beds were very comfortable and we slept very well. Lovely and quiet.  Tea and coffe making facilities were welcome in the room. The usual sachets of tea, coffee and milk which I personally dislike, preferring to be able to take a jug of fresh milk to the room. (My only critism of this hotel) . Fast free WiFi in the rooms. We picked this hotel as it welcomed cyclists and walkers. We brought our bikes as we planned to cycle the Ystwyth trail. We were able to store our bikes securely inside the hotel. The breakfasts were cooked to order and included fresh fruit salad, yogurts, cereals, porridge as well as the full English. Good quality ingredients were used. I particularly enjoyed the creamy, buttery scrambled eggs. The hotel does not offer evening meals but has a small bar and homely lounge area for guests to use. The staff were very professional-the hotel well organised and well run. Thank you🙂

Very enjoyable stay

I stayed at the Plas Antaron Hotel for two nights as I was on a trip to Bethesda from Swansea and it was stopping point about half way, the hotel was very clean, room and bathroom faultless, breakfast was full English and cooked to perfection, John the owner was very pleasant and helpful, sadly they don't do an evening meal and you need to go out locally, so I have dropped a star for that but I would stay here again no problem, and plenty of off road parking which I always want .

2 Night stay

A pretty average hotel on the outskirts of Aberystwyth. The service was ok, the breakfast was good, the room was a fair size and clean though maybe in need of a little updating. There was plenty of parking space but the hotel is on a main road on the way out of Aber. so a little road noise. .. So to sum up .. an Ok hotel in an Ok location at an Ok price.
