What was good

We stayed one night to break up the journey from Sussex to Devon. Very picturesque, we stayed in foxglove. Very spacious family room. Very comfy bed and pillows plus a tower fan to keep you cool. We had beer battered cod & chips for dinner, it was very nice 👍 breakfast was ok. We will definitely be back to explore the area as it was beautiful.

What was bad

I asked for a takeaway hot sausage sandwich for my husband as we didn’t think he’d make it for breakfast. They obliged but when we opened it someone had wrapped it in cling film before wrapping it in tin foil. The cling film had melted together and the sandwich was soggy from sweating. Other than that mind your head in the bedroom as the massive telly is very close to the bed.
