I stayed there for a while when I first came to Kampala. Even after I settled, whenever I have guests, I recommend the place and they were all satisfied. The only challenge might be that they are sometimes occupied by a big group and have no room!

Good guesthouse in Kampala. A peaceful haven in a busy city. Beautiful garden, clean and spacious rooms, good breakfast. It’s not well signposted but just follow googlemaps and you’ll get there. Restaurants and supermarket nearby. Own parking facilities.

Having stayed at Banda Inns several times, I can recommend this charming guesthouse for individual travelers as well as for families. The host family is very friendly and helpful - also providing airport transfers as well as safari services at reasonable prices. The breakfast on the veranda with view on the beautiful garden is priceless. Otherwise, the location is good - close to several restaurants, fitness studios, clubs - and not far from down-town. Rooms are simple but tidy and with ample of sunlight. Definitely a good choice if you want to stay around Muyenga Hill in Kampala.

Very cozy guesthouse with a beautiful garden and friendly managers

I loved my stayed at banda in because felt less like a hotel and more like home. I had the front room with the patio which is really nice for sitting outside. My room was large. Breakfast and laundry service made everything perfect.

Home away from home

Banda Inns is a perfect place for a longer stay in Kampala for business or leisure. A quiet and spacious guesthouse, friendly and helpful staff, reasonable rates and a responsive manager. Recommended!

Perfect place for a longer stay

Wonderful place to stay. Spotlessly clean, large well designed rooms mostly with balcony or terrace. Very friendly manager and staff - nothing was too much trouble. Airport shuttle and taxi to the city with good drivers. Excellent breakfast also other meals and drinks. Lovely garden, no traffic noise, though sometimes dogs barking at night! otherwise quiet. Would recommend this place at any time.

Best place in Kampala

I keep returning to Banda Inns because it is just a great place to stay. Relaxed and friendly, quiet and yet in a great location. The rooms are nice and clean, the breakfast is good, WiFi is reliable and the laundry service makes life so much easier. Pretty garden and just a really good atmosphere.

Requested pick up service, a customized day tour to Jinja and even email response - all are exactly "on time"!   Maximized my short stay and satisfaction was truly guaranteed.   Friendly staff, manager and a driver.  will come back again.  

Great time management

Banda Inn feels very safe and secure and comfortable.  all of their meals were delicious. We had their breakfast and we also ordered some lunch and dinners.  as many Ugandan hotels they do not provide any toiletries except soap and only one towel so bring your own.  Overall it was a very nice day in a pretty setting.

Warm showers. Lovely family. Laundry service free of charge with clothes even folded! Spacious rooms. Great breakfast selection. Wi-if supported FaceTime and Skype for work away from home. Beautiful garden scenery. Relaxed environment.
