In a display of true Ugandan hospitality, this property exceeded my every expectation! My only complaint was that I couldn't stay longer! The food is exceptional, its quality rivaled only by the quality of the customer service! The property was immaculately clean and ready to make your stay outstanding! I hope to stay again because it is rare you find a place like this!

We enjoyed our one night stay here. It was very, very quiet. We must have caught them at a quiet time as we did not see anyone else staying here. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The dining area was beautiful. They have a large deck to sit and enjoy your meals. The gardens are beautiful! The monkeys in the trees were fun to watch. The staff were helpful and kind.

The stay was great! The rooms were nice and well maintained with hot showers, nice clean beds, and a fan!

What really impressed me was the staff. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, from the time I called to book the room until I checked out. I could not have asked for anything better. They were just fantastic!

The food was very good and served by a warm and attentive staff.

Nice Place

We loved the Papyrus Guest House.  The staff was super friendly and the dinner we had was excellent.  There is a nice bar area to hang out at.  The rooms were clean and safe but there was no air conditioning so it got a little warm for us.  We felt safe while we were at the property.  We did not seek to go out off the property for anything so we can't comment on that.  Great value for the money.

A wonderful base for a safari adventure in Uganda. Quiet, cool gardens to help get away from the Entebbe heat, and clean, comfortable rooms. The staff are fabulous too - they really can't do enough. Special shout outs to Gift, Anne and Matthew! The food was great too, with lots of lovely soups, grilled dishes and vegetarian options too. Will definitely stay here again next visit! 

Gorgeous gardens, fabulous staff

Papyrus Guesthouse made my girls and my son's stay welcoming and warm. After a mix up at the airport the family were tired and hungry. The staff was very kind to let them check in so late and still feed them. I appreciate them being attentive and kind and the rooms are beautiful. I highly recommend them.

Bad airport experience but a good night at Papyrus

This is a fantastic guest house close to Lake Victoria and about 15 minutes to Entebbe airport.
the rooms are spacious, clean. wonderful hosts of the guesthouse.  I have stayed in many places in Africa and I would come back here again and again.

Wonderful relaxing guesthouse in garden setting

My Irish cousins and I began our trip to Uganda by relaxing at the Papyrus Guest House for a few days.  It was a perfect base as we shopped for our stay at a school four hours from Kampala.

I stayed overnight at Papyrus Guest House after arriving at the airport and it was the perfect place to relax before setting off on safari the next day. I had a very nice upstairs room with a lovely balcony overlooking the lush gardens. The meals were very good - and very plentiful! And the staff were all excellent - nothing was too much trouble to make my stay an enjoyable one. The only thing I missed was a hot shower in the morning as it was a bit temperamental.
