Elgarden Hotel & Residence

Many hotels in the area host middle eastern families, most of the hotels ask for marriage certificate which is very absurd but this hotel doesn't have this type of discriminatory procedure. The staff was extraordinarily helpful and polite compared to a 3-star hotel. Foods were extremely delicious and there were many different variants both in the dinner and breakfast buffets! Right on the way to the ski resorts, plateaus, camping sites, viewpoints, cafes and restaurants, and also close to the creeks and lakeside picnic areas. Hotel's manager was a young fella, who had a deep knowledge about the town. He advised me a very nice mountain & city view restaurant in the evening to go for a drink! Pros + Rich breakfast buffet + Rich dinner buffet + Extremely polite and helpful staff + Very new, and modern interior design + Fresh rooms and bathroom + Complimentary toiletries, bottles of water, Nescafe and tea bags + Distance to main attractions + Very large garden with beautiful bird nests on the trees + Alcoholic beverages can be ordered at the restaurant & rooms (most hotels in the area don't offer this service) + Free car park Cons - Thin walls (can easily hear a neighbor when they speak loudly) - I called the reception to complain about a noisy neighbor but no actions were taken (I suppose they never called the room since I could hear their talk but their phone never rang) - Quite expensive SPA services compared to Istanbul 3-4 star hotel SPAs (A 60-minute massage costs 200 TL) - No free hammam usage, no indoor swimming pool (since the hotel deserves to be a 4 star but I assume due to no indoor swimming pool, they got 3 stars only)
