Baraka Hisaronu

A friend of mine mentioned this cute hotel when she heard that I was looking for a quiet, relaxing, adults-only spot, so I decided to give it a try. I stayed at Baraka for 3 days, and honestly, it was so hard to leave! I have a degree in hotel management, and I travel frequently, so during the years I've become quite picky about the places I stay. Baraka is not a perfect hotel (is there one?), but it has this homely, welcoming vibe that is so rare in the industry these days. As a guy who requires a day or two to acclimatize to new surroundings, it was quite surprising to feel at home after only a couple of hours. The staff played a big role in this, especially Amie and Tanya, who felt more like friends than employees throughout my stay. I wasn't actually looking for any activities, but "movie night" was fun, and the free yoga lesson was so good and relaxing... it was quite surprising to come across such a skillful and experienced yoga teacher at a hotel, to be honest. I needed a cosy, quiet place that felt like home, not an establishment. And I found it. And yes, I will definitely go back as soon as possible.
