Faik Bey Konagi

An astonishing, mystical place to visit in winter, when the lake is shrouded in mist and the small fishing boats and waterfowl pass in and out of view. The hotel is nicely heated, and I can highly recommend the lake view rooms, especially the one with a balcony. The rooms are comfortably appointed and the food is hearty. Golyazi is a small village taking up the entirety of a teardrop-shaped peninsula on the lake, accessible only by bridge or boat. The locals are very friendly and welcoming of visitors.
