CONS:
No secure parking - our hire car got scored along one side from being parked outside the hotel in a very narrow alley

Excellent value for money

On our way to Goreme, we slept there for one night. Very good price and excellent location, close the museums and Aladdin roundabout. Good restaurants around. The room was very basic and a little old, but very good value for money.

Not personel, but excellent price

Initially the hotel was very difficult to locate. Once we foud it it was good walking distance of everything we needed to see. We already had reservations and were staying just for one night. I found the staff/ owner the heavy guy very rude. When we went in despite having reservations he refused to give me a place  where I could change my crying baby before seeing my passport which my husband had but was looking for parking as parking is very limited. I wouldn't say that this place is very accommodating to young families I had to warm up my baby's milk bottle and they had no water heater kettles or microwave. I had to go into the kitchen and boil water and then warm up milk in it. The only thing updated is the lobby rest is old and crumbling. Thank god it was just matter of one night if we had reservations for longer we would have definitely looked for another hotel. We traveled Turkey for a month and stayed at many hotels, this was a horrible find.

Not family oriented or friendly

We slept in Konya one night in our way from Denizli/Pamukkale to Capadoccia.
The hotel is 5 min walking from the Aladdin roundabout, last stop of the tramway. From the bus station TL 3 and 25 min. Very near important landmarks in the city, and full of places to eat.
Good rooms, wet toilet, hot water, weak wifi, excellent service.

Good budget option in Konya

Hotels in Konya tend to be overpriced. Not Es Otel! It is not particularly stylish but is spotlessly clean, very affordable, on a quiet street, and offers a great buffet breakfast. The room had great lighting, which is seldom the case. The manager was very helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommended for travellers on a budget.
