We prefer small boutique hotels with excellent service and Aya Yorgi does not disappoint.  A perfect location, nestled in the countryside -  5-7 minutes to Ayazma beach and 7-9 minutes to the town.  Lovely, sustainable gardens and a warm pool.  Wonderful guests to mingle with that are like-minded all gather at the poolside bar and restaurant that is well-stocked and provides delicious meals and drinks.  I agree with the other reviews - prices are very fair and everything was fresh and tasty.  Most importantly, the owner and his staff are FANTASTIC.  They were so friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating.  Turkey needs more small hotels like this one.

THE place to stay on the island!

What an awesome experience this place was! Bozcaada, a true paradise, is a beautiful historical island off the coast of Western Turkish shores. Due to hundreds of years of historical landmarks and artifacts present, construction is halted on the island, with no permits allowed for roads or other infrastructure. The result is an untouched beauty, with streets closed off to traffic and dirt roads which allow you to enjoy nature from a special perspective.

This hotel, like all hotels on the island, are made up of small miniature “köy” (village) homes, on quite a large piece of land. You approach on a dirt road, truly allowing you to understand how untouched the island is. Once in the hotel quarters, in the middle lays a beautiful restaraunt/bar surrounding a very nice pool. In the background plays soft tunes, allowing you to chill out and relax all in the midst of nature on the beautiful island.

The pool is new, and clean. The lounge chairs were also comfortable and great to relax in. A shower and changing room is also few steps away.

(Also, A basketball court is a few steps away for those who want to shoot a few hoops next to the pool.)

The food is exceptional, with many options and prices that are very fair when compared to the rest of the island. I’m a coffee fanatic, and I can happily confirm their coffee is fantastic. A full bar is also available with beer and liquor options to satisfy and craving you may have. Local to Bozcaada is the wine, and I must admit that it’s the best option. Try a different one every night! I love red, and this is by far the best wine I’ve ever had.

The rooms are very cozy, and modern. They have a terrace in which you can relax and enjoy the fresh air in times where you are not hanging out by the pool.

The staff are very friendly, always with a smile present, reminding you of the warm Turkish hospitality.

All the beaches are ~5-10 minutes away by car. Taxis are present on the island, as I personally didn’t come with the car.

By far the best trip I’ve ever made and I’m so happy I chose to stay here. Overall, the experience was absolutely fantastic. Unlike other vacation stays, the focus here is nature. And for someone who loves the outdoors, this was an excellent choice. I relaxed, calmed my mind and reminded myself how amazing life is.

What an AMAZING place, on such a beautiful island. 100% recommend.

It is a wonderful place specially during pandemi days to take a breath. You can enjoy both as a family and as a friend group.
If you're searching an enjoy, peace and comfort all together, it is a rigth placeto come.

Take a breath in the nature 

What made our stay wonderful was the staff. Young kind energetic , they were ready to accommodate. Grounds were lovely. It was relaxing and private. Breakfasts were excellent so was the dinner we had there.Definitely would recommend it.Expedia should change its location listing though because it is not at city center

Peaceful place, surrounded by wine yards, olive trees, lots of beautiful flowers, even lavanda. Room is clean and cozy, very comfy bed. Only one disadvantage that your room terrace  not very relaxing to chillax with wine or tea. We were stayed one night. Really dreemy to stay in middle of nowhere and be surrounded by aegean nature and plants. Staff friendly and helpful. Their breakfast has very good quality food, and most important fresh. Especially bakery, Turkish traditional bakery very fresh, seems like cooked by hotel chef, even in normal bakery hard to find such perfect simit and other traditional buns. Hotel interior charmy, in the room several lavanda bouquets, very pleasant side❤️ location is good, that you can reach magical sunset 🌇 spot, bozcaada center by car enough fast. We live it

The situation is beautiful and the staff very accommodating, however I was very disappointed that over 6 nights my bed was never made.  After the first day no shower gel etc was provided and I had to ask for toilet paper and the bins to be emptied.

In the countryside

Located near ayazma beach (approximetely 3 km), hotel ayayorgi is peaceful and quiet place to stay and relax. They serve their breakfast from 8.30 till 10.30 am. Do not worry about being hungry after you ate their home made cakes, jam and domestic dish called "pisi".
Staff is very friendly. Rooms are big enough for a couple to stay. They allow you bringing your pet to the hotel. They have their own parking lot. One problem could be Wifi connection because it is very poor.
If you want to spend your holiday there my advice will be renting a car or motorbike to travel around the island.
There are many beaches there. The coldest water of bozcaada is at ayazma coast. After swimming there, you could visit each coast starting from aquarium to habbele.

Fine place to stay (B&B type)

We have stayed for 5 days and loved the place. Staff is extra helpful and nice. We became friends. Rooms are super clean. We had the best fish at their restaurant. Casual, cosy environment from the rooms to the lobby/restaurant.

Cozy guest house in the middle of olive trees

Small rural hotel composed of three  houses with independent rooms. In the center a main house serving as restaurant, reception and leisure room. Garden with swimming poll and playground for kids. Rich Turkish breakfast freshly cooked daily and served in the garden patio. Extra surprise, the complementary access to a simple private beach some km's from the hotel. The only negative point is the small size of the rooms. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing property.

Quiet property immersed in the beautiful countryside

This was the fourth time that we visited this beautiful island. 
Aya Yorgi Lodge was the best hotel we stayed. Peaceful garden with gorgeous flowers, delicious breakfast at the terrace. Especially if you are escaping from the hectic rhytym of the big city, here you suddenly realize the life slows down and lets you capture and enjoy every single moment. 
We strongly recommend. Great Escape...
