The Lanna style resort is set in a picturesque area near a local village. It looks picture perfect with the greenery in the background and a small stream that runs near the resort. It looks even more beautiful at night with the lights on. We had a small lanna style house to stay for our 2 nights stay. The first recommendation would be to organise a hotel pick up from the airport because the taxi drivers tend to rip you off. We had a nutty cab driver so we had to call the resort owner Mr Kring to organise transport for us. He was extremely helpful and got us a cab in no time. The owner and his sister were both very hospitable, friendly and attentive to us. I had a nasty cold and the owner's wife who is also the head chef made us some rice porridge for breakfast. That was possibly the best rice porridge I have ever tasted. After reading all the good food reviews, we made sure to have dinner there. Dinner was absolutely delicious and we didn't leave a morsel of food behind. Highly recommend trying their food. Mr Kring and his family's hospitality were outstanding. We had a group tour that started early in the morning. Mr Kring and his sister made sure that we had a brunch bag packed with tasty sandwiches, sticky rice pudding and juice. After checking out of the resort, I realised I had left my sun hat at the resort. Mr Kring personally drove to the hotel we were staying in downtown Chiang Mai and returned my hat the next morning. We were amazed at his gesture and kindness. This resort is definitely one of the best places we stayed in Thailand. There is so much in Chiang Mai that we didn't have time to do/see so we will definitely we back soon with our families. My husband and I would highly recommend this resort to our family and friends.
