Very simple nothing special except the perfect location the staff was friendly in the room clean that’s all.

Located few steps from sea 
In Nungwi beach 
Rooms are clean good with mini refrigerator
The main thing there is no communication with the host 
I felt unsafe and I left early morning
Bcoz travelled solo other than that no  issues regarding room

Nice hotel and the position is fantastic...the room it's really on the beach

Location is great. Staff are friendly. Room is clean but suggest install curtains for more privacy.

The best location!

good place for a good price

We are a retired couple who has travelled a lot.Tired about big hotels ,B&Bsuites us nowadays,because they are more personal,and you meet people/stuff easier.
Faridu resort was nicely by the sea,that was one reason to stay there.
The rooms downstairs were big,not very tidy,some troubles with the airconditioner and the water/shower.
We got help with those,in a Pole pole-way.
The breakfast included fruits,smoothie,white bread/egg (cheese)coffee/tea -and that was enough for us.
The resort is a bit outside the big hotels and you can follow the fisherman and the local peoples doing from the terrass.
We stayed in three weeks and the stuff became very friendly and helping.



No luxuary,but Ok place/reasonable price

We were escorted and 'dumped' at Faridu when we arrived at the place we originally booked (with a fully paid reservation) - the Bagamoyo Spice Village - summarily informed us they were overbooked.  
The location was just fine; but Faridu's room was just fair (the online photos show the new rooms and not the old ones where we were put).  They provide absolutely NO services except breakfast, which is basic.  They don't even sell bottled water although there's a small grocer nearby.  We struggled to get mattresses for lounge chairs, which even then were too small for the chairs.  Even finding a staff person to ask a question was a problem.  The idea of service at this place was nonexistent - in contrast to all other places we stayed or ate in Zanzibar.  Worth going anywhere but here.

Minimal room facilities / non-existent service

I guess the informations about the guest house is false. There is no swimming pool, no private beach. My ac did not work but the room was still cold because of the cool weather. Cleaning every other day was ok.Best location right ob beach. The "real owner is nice and helpful.

We found bloom in the bed. The condition of the room was insane. No paper , no gel , no towel..... nothing. When we arrived , they didn’t know we have a reservation. I don’t recommend in any sense. We saw the pictures before booked but nothing with the reality. The only thing that they have is the beach !! The beach amaizing 

Dirty and insane place 

Good location next right next to the beach.  The hosts tried hard but missed the mark.  Then the owner apologized as we were leaving, before we could say anything. ??? 
 The musty smell and the moldy bathroom makes it a no go zone. Unless you're adventurous.
