4 reviewsStayed here because I got a good deal. But I think they may have rebranded to "Kilimanjaro Star Hotel"? Anyway, I thought the staff was very nice and helpful. The wifi wasn't working because they were doing some construction but the lady at the desk very kindly went to buy some data and I used her hotspot. Breakfast was fine. Sweet potatoes, spring rolls, fruit, eggs, tea, coffee, etc. Buffet style. It also had an outdoor eating area under a roof and it was nice to just stay there in the evening (just to relax, not eat). Now the room: Big bed, net, bathroom was ok too. Not new, but as I expect from such a place. I saw someone said they felt the location was bad but I thought it was pretty central. Maybe 10 mins walk to the actual "center" of Moshi? Also means that it's quieter. I walked around Moshi and the location didn't bother me. THE ONE BAD THING: In the early morning, I was woken up by noise made by what felt like 100000 birds. I'm not sure what they were but it felt almost like they were in the room! My room was on the top floor. In conclusion, for the same price, I would consider staying there again. Maybe on a lower floor.
