This guesthouse is located in the Jiufen area. It is a little bit hard to find if you are the first time to visit here. It's better to call the host and ask him to lead you. Otherwise, you may get lost like us. Besides, it provides an amazing view through the window of your room. BTW the host is pretty friendly and hospitable.

這間名宿在九份。它有一點難找如果你是第一次來這玩。你可以直接打給房東請他帶你，不然你很有可能像我們一樣迷路。此外，你可以從房間裡看到很漂亮的風景。最後，老闆人真的很熱情。

Peaceful and beatutiful

The Good:

- the location is right on Jiufen Old Street and that means it is super convenient for one to visit the streets but getting up with your luggage is a real challenge. Our driver had a really hard time getting into the small one-way street and it looks sort of dangerous at one point. We recommend that you take your luggage up to the accommodation by foot and key is to travel light. You wouldnt want to carry an oversize luggage to walk up those tiny steep steps.

- because the exact location of the B&B isnt that easy to locate, the owner actually have a staff on standby to help you/ your driver navigate the way up to the accommodation, which helps a lot! and this uncle (the staff) is super friendly and nice, eager to share more information around Jiufen too! However, i think the only speaks mandarin.

- we love the decor of the room and the big window that overlooked the formation of the Old Street and Old Quarter including the sea view. it was truly lovely and worth all that effort in locating the accommodation. We decided to stay a night in Jiufen because we wanted to see the beauty if the town lit up with lights and we didnt regret that! We would recommend you to do the same, the night view is really different from the day and especially if you appreciates the town's previous life as a mining town.

- room big and comfy enough for 2, the toilet is super spacious! toiletries are provided too. water pressure is strong and water temperature is hot enough to take us through winter chills of 10deg.

- overall the environment was peaceful and quiet, almost tranquil, away from the hustle and bustle of the old street.

The Not So Good:
- it was 10deg (we traveled in late Dec) and there was no heater in the room. do come prepared with extra layers/ heat pad to keep warm.

- not as accessible but that is what makes it beautiful too!

- breakfast not provided but you can surely find food along the Old Streets.
