Xing Yu Inn

After stayed in Xing Yu Inn then back to Booking site to read the reviews. I can't stop thinking why those reviews very negative. LOCATION ========= First, Xing Yu Inn is a bit far from the main street? That is true but that is expected, isn’t it!!! for those who didn't like the location why didn't they book the accommodation in town and complain complain and complain ?????? Because it is away from town, therefore it is so peaceful and enjoyable at night. Of course if you like the noise and smell from the food stalls at main street then you will not like this place. Just cross the road that is a sand beach. It is also a popular beach, there are plenty of activities you can choose...... If you like sun burn you can get there during the day. I like to enjoy the sound of wave and colour of sky then go there before dark, you could also see the perfect view of "Sail Rock". PAYMENT ======== Those mainlanders complained that they can't use UnionPay card payment. Oh come on .......... that is your country and bank's problem, then they should complain to the bank. In fact how often these kind of small homestay / guesthouse / accommodation will accept credit card payment?????? PLEASE read the payment detail before make a booking and STOP complaining....... ROOM ===== I don't have the luxury to have the seaview room, BUT my mountain view room was surprisingly huge and beautiful. the room (in fact the whole building) was very fine detail decorated. I also have a look those seaview rooms, they were OMG huge. It was almost as big as my apartment, but of course if you have 10 people stay in that room, it will be small and crowed. DOWNSIDE ========= Yes, there are always downsides. The building has no elevator, it will be a little hard if you have a big luggage. But it is manageable. Therefore don't bring a huge luggage for the short travel and or clear up the store stocks and back to mainland. Yet, the design of toilet & shower is a bit unusual. The toilet is opened air to the room, it will be a bit unpleasant if you have to do your big business. CONCLUCTION ============ It is imperfect but certainly it is enjoyable to stay. Reviews are helping other to make decisions particular the good and bad. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be more objective!!!! DON'T mark your problem to be another's problem.......
