Nicely tucked away from the hustle and bustle of everywhere in Taitung, this is a truly unique minsu (民宿 ). My family of six occupied the entire place and it was absolutely lovely. The wood deco coupled with being tucked in a secluded area at the foot of a hill gives it a rustic charm you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else in Taiwan.

The manager Ms Wang is also an exceptional host. If you're lucky, she might just whip up a meal for your dinner. A truly authentic Taiwanese homecook meal!

Do note that as the area is secluded, you will definitely need a car or arranged transport to get there and around. It's approximately 40mins away from Taitung's main centre.

Quiet seclusion

As a resident in New Jersey, USA, I started my adventure to Taiwan, mainly for the delicious food treats and staying at this wonderful villa during one of my stops there is certainly a marvelous experience for many years to remember!   The top rated service, food, comfortable beds, hospitality and impeccable scenery are remarkable and unforgettable!  As we entered into the villa, a beautiful huge plate full of the most delicious season fruits was waiting for us there and they are all organic!  The whole villa was full of the natural pleasant smell of Honiki cedar.  The huge and comfortable bed put us to sleep the night through without waking up in the middle of night.  In the morning, when we looked outside of the window, this blue ocean view was everywhere and it was simply striking!  The hospitality and warm welcome from the host and the wonderful Italian food are big plus!!!  I have to say this is indeed a stay full of pleasant surprises!  A++++++++++++++++.

Best Lodging Experience Ever

We live in Boston and went back to visit my family in Taipei this past summer.  We had a wonderful time there.  But the most memorable one will be this villa where we stayed for 3 days.
It is amazing to have such an independent and beautiful place there.  It is very quite and clean around the house.  The staffs are very friendly and helpful.  The breakfast is nice and good portion.  It feels even better when you enjoy it with the postcard view.   We had a wonderful time there and definitely will be back again.

Best  place to stay in Taitung

Cozy place with well-designed house.
Simply laid back and do nothing, you can truly enjoy the spirit of Taitung.
If you are lucky enough to meet the owner (Albert)) who is extremely nice and helpful, don't hesitate chatting with him and realize how beatiful Taiwan is.
