Very good food with fair prices. We hiked from Gletscherschlucht and found this restaurant accidentally, the foods were surprisingly delicious and in good quality. Friendly owner, good service. Highly recommended if you are hiking in Grindelwald area.

Good restaurant with amazing view

These people are So very friendly!!! The VIEW is ABSOLUTELY  amazing! A must-visit in your lifetime. Ask about his chili con carne! Hopefully it’s on the menu when you visit because it’s worth dying for. I’d say the price is also great for being in the mountains. 
We didn’t stay in the hotel, only ate at the restaurant, but when we come back to visit we will definitely want to book a room!

Wonderful restaurant and people!!

We stayed here for a couple of nights attending a local wedding. The setting is fantastic, with views up to the mountain and across the valley. Anita and Walter were very welcoming and very helpful regarding local walks and attractions. The rooms are basic, with shared showers and toilets, but very clean and even had a hairdryer. There is a shared balcony.. We walked into town which was a lovely walk - but the hill is quite steep for coming back. We will come back to do more walking! 

Lovely place 

Great place and wonderful service from Anita and her husband. The food tastes good and they can help you with the planning of different activites. They even helped me getting my car charged! Thank you, yuo are great. 

Great place

Came across this place while walking from Pfingstegg back to Grindelwald. Really friendly staff, excellent homemade cakes made by the owners mother, lovely view of the valley below. Would recommend anyone in the area making the trip up here or staying overnight.

Fantastic Place on the

Stayed here on short because snow at higher elevation.  Linda and Wali could not have been more hospitable.  We were the only ones here and they stayed and talked with us the entire evening.  Great to have owner/operators.  The best food weveyhad so far kn our trip. The homemade chocolate dessert was wonderfun!   Our overnight stay included dinner, room and breakfast.  Vegetable soup,  salad,  cheese fomdue,  chocolate pudding dessert.  

Great room and good heat for room and shower water.  

They have 5 double rooms with shared baths.  

Yes they are bikers has many bikers (motor bikers) stay here. 

Can't believe how nice they were to us while we were there.
