This is a perfect get-away not far from Stockholm. Mariefred is a small cosy village, you will go through the mainstreet in a couple of minutes. The castle, Gripsholm slott is just some meters away and definately worth a visit. The Mariefreds värdshus ( guest house) is a perfect place to stay in for friends, couples or families. Clean, nice food and a fantastic tasty breakfast.
