I had a wonderful stay at this charming bungalow. The space itself is stunning and spotless, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. What really made the experience exceptional, though, was the staff. They were incredibly warm and supportive, always ready to help and ensure everything went smoothly. Their genuine kindness made us feel right at home. I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a memorable and relaxing getaway.Special thanks to Thilina and Bashitha.

Lovely stay! Even with the colder and rainier climate in the mountains, the bungalow still felt like a cozy retreat with lovely tea upon arrival and the possibility of lighting a fire and the integrated fire place. Dinner was served just outside the room and was freshly cooked. We loved that we could have a private dinner. The staff were all very friendly and very service minded. We had a good time

Nice retreat

Had a horrible experience with many issues with our rooms (no heaters, bathroom leaks, no pillow cases and toiletries given), bad food, very dirty kitchen and extremely disappointing service from the manager/person in-charge (Thilina). Except for the outdoor garden area and the location, I Would not recommend this place.

Do not recommend this place. Very dingy interior and horrible food and service by the manager (Thilina).

Highly recommend

Very nicely located on the hillside above Nuwara Eliya, surrounded by tea plantations and a beautiful garden, this colonial house has been perfectly renovated and is very pleasant. The staff is very caring and friendly, making our stay very pleasant. The breakfast is amazing!

Oasis bungalow at Nuwaraeliya. The two day stay over was marvelous. Chef is Viswa and Nadan is the Stewart. The food was amazing and the service tendered was superb. The bungalow is no nice and the garden is perfectly maintained.

GREAT PLACE TO STAY

We were staying at the Oasis bungalow for 3 nights and we were a group of 12. From the minute we checked in the service was great. And they helped us to prepare for the BBQ, and all the meals they prepared for us was great.
A special thanks to Vishwa and his 2 assistants who took care of us.
We will definitely come back to this amazing place.
Thanks a lot for making our stay a memorable one.



Perfect getaway

We recently stayed here, a group of 6 adults.  The cottage shares the property along with the bungalow.  It was truly disgusting.  It was so incredibly dirty.  The kitchen was gross! It had an old dirty mouldy kettle.   The glass table was filthy.   The beds only had a bottom sheet and a furry blanket on top.   My daughter and I went and removed one of the bottom sheets on the beds we weren’t using and we noticed the mattresses were old, full of holes and stained.   I gave this a star because the men working here were pleasant.  They got us a better kettle, but come on, you know we are arriving, clean the place up! There was no cutlery.  Horrible experience

Review of the cottage

We arrived on January 28th for a two night stay.  We were expecting to stay in the Oasis Bungalow but we instead were put in Oasis Cottages (next door/ adjacent).  Do not confuse the two and we dont know if this was a mistake on behalf of our agent or the owners.  The caretaker seemed to infer in was a management problem.   Oasis Bungalow is a smart, modern property, Oasis Cottage is NOT.  

Upon arrival, the caretaker didn't do a very good job explaining how the hot water works and so we had cold showers the first morning (there is also a switch near the lights to isolate the boilers ??).   Nuwara Eliya is quite high and so the evenings were cold.  The caretaker kindly offered to light a fire in the property in the evenings but we were back late each day and so this wasnt really an option to heat up the property.   The caretaker also put a guide from another group in a spare bedroom without telling us on the first night and left an external door open without telling us.  We were quite upset about this for obvious reasons and were able to switch our driver with the unknown guide.  Extra bedding was provided after our first night of chilled sleep and we enjoyed the local area and town.  Management did resolve the internet not working upon arrival and provide additional bedding.  I would definitely double check with your agent before booking this property as I wouldnt want anyone to have the experience we did.
