I and my husband stayed here 3 nights and it was superb. Best service, best room. Everything was superb. Nothing to complaint.
And specially you have so many restaurants around here and no need to worry about the meals. 😊 We will come back definitely.

Best place in Galle 

We spent here 6 nights and it was an extremely nice stay.
The building is remarkably nice and the garden is beautiful and perfectly cared. The rooms are very spacy and perfectly clean, beds are super comfortable and the staff are excellent and kind. The kitchen is there to be used, but there aren’t enough tools (just 2 pans available and nothing else), so this is an aspect that might be improved, since shared kitchens are often required and booked for precise reasons (allergy diet for example). Btw I would say it’s perfect if Internet worked as it should. The line is very bad, you have to continuously ask for it to be recharged and it’s quite annoying going to the lady etc etc. No way of watching a film, for example, nor to use it for work.
There is a mosque just around the corner, so get ready for the muezzin’s voice and chants to be your alarm clock! In general, it’s a bit noisy place (parties, people chatting with loud voice along the corridors, constructions just beyond its walls), so if you need silence to sleep or relax I wouldn’t say it’s the right place to be. The bus 381 that leaves from the central bus station, just after the train one, will take you exctly in front of the place and it runs frequently, so it’s really a great bonus. At about 1km there is a great supermarket where you will find anything you need and the local shops, that sell really good local food. The lady kindly helped us to rent a motorbike, no daily cleaning service, but I’d go back a hundred times.

Very Good

We moved to this place as it had a much more spacious feel than our last guest house in same city. We particularly liked the light and airy feel of the guesthouse, that it looked out on to a garden area. It had excellent kitchen facilities. The aircon in our room was excellent. No hot water but not an issue in hot Galle. The room we had was sparking clean. Very welcoming owner.

There was some construction work occurring as a second level was being attached. This did not disturb as at all and indeed it was very interesting to watch and would be interesting particularly if you had a handyman bent. We loved the bamboo scaffolding.

We could hear birds and saw the occasional troop of monkeys in neighbouring trees.

The accomodation was a bit away from restaurants but easily accessible by local bus. Just get off at Thomas Gall School. We would gladly stay again
