BLUESEA Gran Playa

We had a late flight so got there at 1am. Check in was quick and easy as I had done all the pre checking online. Had a junior suite and found it be spacious and clean. All rooms have a pool view due to layout of the hotel. Beds are much more comfortable than we have previously experienced at this chain of hotels. Staff are very pleasant and in the most part very helpful. There was no huge rush for subbed as these are plentiful. Pools are clean and well supervised. We had read previous reviews about the food and were not concerned as we have learnt not everyone is ever going to be satisfied no matter what they get. For a 3* hotel the food was excellent with a good variety and always piping hot and plentiful. The catering staff must work so hard so well done to them. Entertainment staff work well and give a varied programme but are not too pushy if you don’t want to Join in. The only downside I have is trying to book a late checkout. This was like pulling teeth. As we had a late flight home we asked on the first day to book a late checkout and were told we couldn’t until the day we were leaving. We asked again after midnight… on the day we were leaving and was told by night staff that we had to come back at 6 am when the shift changed as he couldn’t do the room. I went back at 6am and was told to come back at 7am… what an absolute faff. On the whole a great budget week and we would certainly come back here again
