I am in Castelldefels for three days following three days in Barcelona. I highly recommend this town! We are staying at the Marfina Apartaments and it is amazing. We have a sea facing one bedroom apartment with kitchen that is very comfortable. They provide beach lounge chairs and umbrellas, beach towels, bicycles, paddleboards, and kayaks. A delicious breakfast is served for 6.50E which includes juice, coffee, croissants, toast with home made tomato sauce served on a lovely patio. There is also a room for those that want to enjoy the beach on the check out day.  Check out room provides shower, toilet, towels, hair dryer, shampoo and soap. Perfect! The apartment is right on the beach with a boardwalk running for miles in each direction for walking, running, biking. The town is filled with great restaurants all within 2-10 minutes walking from Marfina. Wonderful town for a beach getaway. We paid 45E for the taxi here from Hotel Gaudi. Castelldefels is quite close to airport for easy departure.

Paula is the hotel manager and she excels with communication prior to stay and helpful information during the stay. She is highly organized, efficient, and very pleasant!

Excellent location and apartment in Castelldefels!

A terrible experience, booked a week in 2 bed apartment with sea view in January for an august stay. When arrived was told that due to a mix up which they admitted was their fault our apartment was not available and was offered a terrible 1 bed dark and dingy apartment at another building away from the beach. Zero apology no manners or care. Ruined the holiday and in the end we had to leave and find another place. 
A real shame as had stayed previously pre covid and had really enjoyed it. Needless to say will not be using them again. It seems that as we booked early and got a good price on the apartment they had sold it to a better price and left us stranded. Book at your own risk but be prepared to be disappointed

Terrible experience with appalling  customer service

Super place to stay by the beach with excellent amenities. All the concierge staff are amazing people! They are so attentive and helpful and made our trip feel very special. This is a family friendly and couples friendly place to stay. All the communal spaces are fresh and clean and inviting. The rooftop suite is incredible with complete private access, outside deck with lounge chairs and dining table. Inside, the space is welcoming with everything for a comfortable stay--cool and air conditioned with great views of the beach. 
It really is a "place to return to" !

Comfort and Style in Castelldefels

First Line to the beach. Clean rooms and very friendly staff. Great cafe for a very good price. Parking included. There are bikes and StandUpPaddel Boards available for free use. The distance to restaurants and bars are unbeatable. Nothing to complain

Compared to prices in the area and Barcelona, the value for money here seems very reasonable.
The other reviews are on point, great service (something into necessarily standard in Spain).
Bikes and ocean equipment . Recommend this place for sure.

Great service

Five stars, perfect location, cleanliness, friendly staff, great equipment of the apartments - nothing missing. We stayed in q room with side sea view and it was perfect! You can see from both sides and the balcony is also well located. We will be back.

We stayed here for 5 days for a short family holiday, everything was absolutely perfect. Starting with the staff, Especially Catia and Paula. These 2 were amazing, each time we asked for assistance they both went above and beyond. Thankyou beautiful ladies for making our stay so perfect ♥️

The room itself was perfect, exactly what we booked. Suited oue family needs perfectly. The beach is so close, it was our back garden, beach towels are provided in the room and sun loungers are also provided along with a parasol. 

Bikes are available and free to use which was so handy to explore the beach strip, we really enjoyed our bike rides throughout the day 

There are lots of food places and mini markets scattered around the beach front and the main road. The evening vibe is amazing 

Overall ambiance of the hotel is perfect, very friendly and welcoming. Well defo be visiting again soon

Personally the staff made our stay even more enjoyable ♥️

Great, clean, comfortable, well maintained apartment-hotel, looks like lately renovated. Located right beside the beach. Sandy beach is wide, goes far away in both sides, cleaned daily, sand is not worse than in the Caribbeans. Free parking inside, behind the closed gate. In room you have living room with equipped kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. You can cook yourself and save a lot of money.  Air conditioners work good. Bicycles, beach loungers and umbrellas are free. Few minutes walk to a wide range of good restaurants and basic supermarkets for food and drinks. What is not good - it's wi-fi: barely working, slow, interrupts all the time. But if you came here not for internet – it is a great place and great town.

These apartments are fantastic for a beach holiday. Clean, and well equipped.
Situated right on the beach.
Easy walk to shops bars and restaurants .
Added bonus of bike hire, sun beds and beach umbrella included.
Bus to centre of Barcelona stops outside and is just 2:20 euros each way.
Would recommend and return .
There is some aircraft noise not all the time but did not bother us.

Short Break

They had ants all over the floor, coming from the holes in the floor.
As soon as we came in it was a strong smell of chemicals and when I said that there are still ants, guy at the reception said that he can put more chemicals. We were traveling with 2 months kid. Then he offered for us to find another place. This was really rude, since we were tired after flight. 
At the end he did a small discount, but that was nothing compared to the so bad customer approach. Would never come back there
