This hotel is situated in a quiet part of Playa Ferrera. A pleasant 10 minute walk takes you to the main street where bars and restaurants are located.
The beach is just a short walk with a very reasonably priced restaurant/snack bar.
We particularly enjoyed the infinity pool which was located in a quiet zone. The pool was a great length for swimming and free of irritating noisy children. However there is another larger pool which they can use.
The hotel staff were very friendly and dealt with any issues quickly and efficiently. 
Would definitely return.


Lovely Appartments Close to the Beach

Excelled our expectations! I emailed  prior to arrival to ask for a ground floor apartment as my husband has recently had a knee replacement. We had a great room on the ground floor room over looking the infinity pool! We had our own double sun lounger too!
The pool was lovely and quiet and had staff on the bar to order drinks and snacks. The room was very clean, towels changed everyday if you wished. Even got a pool towel to use. Definitely recommend and will return thanks. 👌 😊

Hidden gem! 💎 

We had a lovely time, an excellent service and very professional and friendly staff! Especially Milena, who went out of her way to please us as guests. The accommodation was beautiful and impecably clean too.

Great experience 

We very much liked the hotel, very friendly staff, cooperative and available, the pools are lovely, clean and warm water, in relaxing suroundings. We liked also the location, as it is very close to many beaches. We recommend having the breakfast at the hotel. 

Very lovely hotel and friendly staff

 We stayed for a much needed 2 weeks break , Balcony was small with only a small table & 2 dining Chairs , covered by trees so no Sun and no views , Air Con only in 1 room and only worked with the balcony door shut , the Air con unit was actually on the balcony so pumped out Hot Air into a already Hot & humid atmosphere which was not good if 1 person wanted to be indoors with it on and the other wanted to sit on the Balcony ! Shower head was broken when we arrived , the Pool area was very poor lots of tiles missing in the main Pool , the Adults Spa pool wasn't Adults only and the Spa sprays didn't work , the very tiny Kids Pool was empty with tiles missing and obviously hadn't been used in a very long time ,Glad we were self catering because the Restaurant only seemed to open in the morning and was down quite a few steep steeps there was also no oven in the apartment only a tiny hob and a microwave  the only good side was a lovely Bar next door and it was very close to the Beach although that involved a walk back up a very steep hill ,

Disappointing

Stayed here for a month. Although they had a few problems staff wise etc., all in all it was a lovely relaxing holiday. Apartments are great and views are nice. Near beautiful beaches. Just many steps and steep hills to climb. So be aware of this.
I just liked to thank all the Staff for there help and effort to make my break a lovely time. Thanks again Sue

Majorca paradise

This place in fine - though I would seriously consider alternatives if you have mobility issues due to many steps at both the hotel and surrounding area which is so steep in places. They are everywhere! Myself and my parter and in our thirties and fairly fit but this was difficult for even us . 

Booked a bed and breakfast package but there was a little confusion and the hotel was not informed - this was down to the agent not the hotel . However there was no fuss and the friendly reception staff sorted things out for us quickly.

Breakfast itself was a bit hit and miss in terms of quality . Mostly good and could always find something to eat.  But I did feel it could have been better once the sausages tasted like cardboard - another time cold another time looked undercooked . Staff mostly good here too and are efficient - Good that omelettes are an option . Nice fruits . 

The room was cleaned daily and given fresh towels also - issued with one complementary lot of tiny toiletries so best bring ur own . BathRoom had a hairdryer - but nowhere near enough space for other things . The shelf in the bathroom above the sink sloped so couldn’t put anything on it . Kitchen had v  basic equipment -not even a bottle opener - but we managed. Cutlery chopping board a few pans ... could be a lot better . Microwave .... I don’t know how you would manage to actually cook anything substantial . Knife was tiny and not a melon baller in site ! ( little joke ) 
Room itself comfortable and clean. Tv had no English channels at all - not that you come on holiday to watch telly but it would have been nice to have it on in background . Decent size balcony but need one of the rails to hang wet swimming clothes and towels on. 

Pool areas well kept and again lovely staff - barman especially absolutely great . Prices are ok . The decking boards need looking at as a few bend and a few are raised in the top pool and quite unnerving . Lovely views over the treetops from pool ! Really beautiful . Good that’s hotel is situated close to beach also and there is a nice local spar and ATM . Good choice of restaurants up past Barcelo but again it’s a bit steep on the hill .

Safe in room and a 5 eur refundable deposit. Good . 
Overall if you are looking for a nice break - don’t hesitate . Conscious that I may have sounded critical but if these things were dealt with this place could be a whole lot better with a little care and a bit of money spent on better equipment . 



Decent break 

This hotel is no where near a 4 star, its more like a 1, room was OK except rusted out  frame on shower glass, air conditioning was OK for one room the other room didn't have air conditioning unless you left the door open, pathetic!! Went down for breakfast on the first day and was greated by staff with a tick off paper of what you wanted, so we ordered the usual, so out come the sausages scrambled eggs fryer eggs beans bacon, the scrambled eggs where hard boiled eggs chopped up the sausages where long hotdog sausage raw!! Bacon was OK and the fryed egg was cold, also all pathetic, we asked where was the buffet breakfast as advertised on line and was told they don't have it as that section was closed down for hygiene reasons, they advertised fresh pizza made that was no where in site and was told no more pizza and that was shut down also pathetic, we decided to eat from the little spar shop on the corner of hotel for breakfast, evening meals where just terrible also no buffet food at all, we went down to give it a try on the 3rd night it was bbq night so we went to get the meat up a few steps and the tray of meat was unmanned and flys allover it just discusting so we ate out morning and night on a all inclusive holiday again pathetic, don't waste your money, 14/09/2019. Best thing was the beach close by and the shops and restaurants

Waste of money

No lifts nearly impossible to get buggy up tight stairs. Ask to be moved and have been ignored. Food is set out for bbq with flies and insects all around. No food layed out at meal times have to know what you want and you might get it. Nothing here for children a small pool with a hose pipe in it . Went all Inclusive which doesn't seem  to matter here you still have to pay for ice pops etc. If you get a drink by the pool it a tiny little cup. If you dont speak Danish you will be ignored anyway. On the positive the rooms are clean and cleaning staff and bar staff are lovely. Restaurant staff are lovely but are not waiters and smiles do not make up for the joke of a restaurant.

Terrible

Ferrera beach apartments offer an all inclusive hotel service but also just apartments. We stayed in one of the 4 person apartments which are spacious with various kitchen and bathroom amenities. The bedroom is also spacious with a desk and large closet, the bed is rather comfortable. However the room can get hot as the air conditioning is in the living area. The sleeping sofa is easy to move and comfortable to sleep on. The balcony is spacious enough to sit on with 4 people. 
There are 2 pool areas which are both very nice with plenty sunbeds. The big pool is quite deep which makes for good swimming, the smaller pool is adults only. Pool bar is equipped with games and all drinks you could desire. The staff is incredibly friendly. I would definitely recommend to make use of at least the mini all inclusive which let's you have breakfast and includes all drinks at the pool. The rose is great!
The centre of cala ferrera is a short walk away (7mins), the centre of cala D'Or a bit further (about 20 mins) but still very manageable.
There are 3 very beautiful beaches within 10 mins of walking.
Would definitely recommend to stay here!
