Brilliant apartment block and the apartments we have had (3 in total)  have been exceptional.  The pool area is kept immaculate and we have never seen it overcrowded.  Will hopefully be returning.  Have spent a few holidays ranging from a week to a month and have never been disappointed.

Exceptional

We stayed for a week at 'Dream Villa' one of the apartments in this concrete jungle. The apartment is roomy with good facilities. However the stay was marred by air conditioner not working and sweating away at night, showers blocked and overflowing, sauna in name and not working. The beds are cheap and uncomfortable, 2 beds side by side  in a superking cot  which slide apart and you go down the crevice in the middle of the night! We can understand they had difficulties with covid, but when contacted the management slow to respond and not solving the problems. All in all not an enjoyable stay.

Poor Maintenance

Stayed there with my close friends for a week. Booked on Booking com. We were very disappointed to see that the Airconditioning in 2 of the 4 rooms did not work. It was difficult to sleep as the rooms were feeling stuffy and warm. In one of the rooms , there was no place to put the clothes. The gentleman who suppose to sort out the issues was very slow to act. The bathroom was blocked and poorly maintained. Location is very good and the room sizes are good.

Disappointed

Great luxury accommodation at an affordable price 
The apartment was very clean and spacious with a lovely large patio area 
The complex is secure and beautifully maintained, in a great area for walking to the beaches and restaurants
Communication was simple and clear and collection of the key was as agreed

Lovely clean spacious apartment

Just returned from a lovely holiday in Costa Adeje.  The apartment is in a great location with easy access to anywhere you wish to go and it's only a 5 minutes stroll to shops, restaurants, and a supermarket. Take a 20-minute stroll to Playa Fanabe, Colonial Restaurant, where they have a live singer every night who is really good and the food and staff are exceptional too. Finding this place was a real gem and made our holiday even more enjoyable. Contact with the owner is also very good although we didn't encounter any problems.

Lovely holiday

We got a quick week away the first week of April and  stayed in Terraza Del Duque 11, we have stayed there on numerous occasions, as usual everything was great and Abbey came trumps as it was a last minute holiday.

Great time

Quiet and private. Spacious apartment. Daria our host was so helpful. Met us on arrival and we enjoyed our stay. When we left we left keys and clothes she had to drop them friends on 2 separate trips. She was just so helpful. Would definitely recommend

Amazing hostess.

Superb apartments 10 mins. walk from the seafront. The walk back is up 2 hills so beware!. Taxis a re only 3 or 4 Euros.
We had a massive 4 bedroom apartment with 2 bathrooms, but only used 2 bedrooms. (No. I-1-3). Nice pool area but there was building work taking place and therefore never used the pool.
Reception is only manned from 10am - 2pm.

Excellent apartments

We were situated in the apartment facing the Grand Hotel, the apartment was beautiful, clean and we very much enjoyed our stay. However, the host, Abbey, was awful. Upon arriving at the apartment we met with a receptionist, Maria, who advised us of the cost of the apartment which was completely different to what was originally agreed, the host then repeatedly changed the price of our stay at this point over the phone and also did this on and off leading up to our stay which put us all on edge and then she complained when we showed her the proof via email of the price she agreed. She then demanded that we pay via cash and not bank transfer, I can only assume this is to dodge tax, we expressed that we didn't feel comfortable doing this however was backed into a corner as we were physically in the apartment at this point and had no choice. She then advised that we will also incur a late stay fee as our returning flights weren't until 9:45 so we asked if we could stay up until 6pm, we were happy to pay the £50 however on the last day of our holiday, we were then advised she was kicking us out anyway which left us ridiculously early for our flight and nowhere to go. We asked for a refund of the £50 and she refused torefund us for the late stay fee, she was extremely rude and threatening. She kept repeating how we were in an expensive villa, she made utterly no sense and tried to make out that we were deluded and didn't pay for the whole late fee charge when in fact everything was paid and everything was agreed in writing. She then threatened us with security and was generally awful and rude. She was threatening to send us invoices for all sorts of nonsense.. Her attempt to ruin our holiday did not work. We feel we were taken advantage of as this was our first holiday abroad, she kept playing on the fact that we hadn't been abroad before and made out we hadn't a clue what we were doing and we needed to pay extra etc. Abbey tried to con us out of money in any way that she could. We are sad to say, we will not be staying in this apartment again. We will never know for sure if this apartment was genuinely owned by this person as she also refused to give us any of her details and wouldn't create a contract/terms and conditions with us either. DO NOT TRUST HER.

The TERRAZAS DEL DUQUE B1-1 is no doubt a wonderful apartment, very spacious and light, well-furnished and possibly the best equipped rental I have ever stayed at. The complex is beautiful and has a great swimming pool. However, as a Trip Advisor reviewer of some 300 reviews I firmly believe that unless reviewers give an honest assessment the whole thing is pointless. For me there are two points of contention, 1) the large patio/terrace is facing the balconies at the side of the Gran Adeje Hotel and 2) the entrance to the complex is situated at the top of a steep hill. Having said this, I did enjoy my stay at this lovely apartment but somebody with more walking difficulties than myself may not.
