As we booked at last few weeks during peak season, it was the only choice for good location but the price was quite with acceptable quality stay.

For me, the only good points are:

Convenience: location of the hotel is very close to the bus stop to Seoraksan National Park
Nice View: Sea view at room

Overrated but old facilities

Good location, kind staff. 

If you get into parking lot by your car from market area, get in carefully and slowly.
The way is very steep slope and narrow.
I don't remember whether they run dining (maybe not then), don't worry because there are lots of places to eat around the hotel. 
Except tooth brush, there is everything you need in the room. 
There is nothing special in the hotel but Noraebang(karaoke). So just sleep here and go out. For this, it seems expensive.

In some rooms, if you open the window, you can see other door's man not far. Of course in case of opened room.

Good but nothing special

Very close to the waterfront and some of the town's main tourist attractions, this hotel is ideally located if you're there for only a few nights. We stayed two, if you're staying longer you may wish for some extra comfort, but for a short stay it's fine. A/C works (although a bit loud), tv and internet work and the bathroom is clean. There's no breakfast but in this town finding food is not a challenge. The walls in between rooms are a bit thin as it's quite noisy, but again, if you're there only to sleep then it won't be too much of a problem, as you'll be tired of all outdoor activities that Sokcho has to offer. One of those is obviously the Seoraksan park, which is a 30 minute busride from the hotel.

Perfect location, everything works, nothing more needed for a short stay

This hotel has probably the best location in Sokcho. It is located 100 meters away both from the bay and from Sokcho's main market. And the backdoor of the hotel leads you directly to the main shopping street.

The hotel itself is a medium size hotel. Rooms are OK: not very big but modern, clean and with all the usual amenities, including a desktop PC. The free breakfast is very limited as reported by others but it's OK for a few days.

The room rate can double or triple during high season as is the case for all Korean hotels located on the seaside, so try to get a room in the low season if you can. For instance, the room rate is usually cheaper in June and by the end of August (compared to July till mid-August).

Four things you should do when you are in Sockcho (and they are all very close from this hotel): (1) go to the beach (you can cross the bay on a traditional boat to get to the beach) (2) visit the "Abai" village (it's on your way to the beach anyway) (3) eat a platter of grilled fish (only 12,000 wons per person, you can pick any of the places near the hotel) and (4) visit the central market.

Best location in Sokcho city

Good room and lovely view over the water.  Splendid site and the newly decorated rooms on the third floor are quite spacious.  The phone number is 033 638 8637 if you want to book.  The room was about £70 which was a bit more expensive than others but the hotel is situated right on the main shopping street opposite the market with lots of restaurants nearby.  Very good place to stay if you are going up the cable car in the mountains - it's only half hour drive and easily reachable by car if you have one.  Breakfast was limited - tiny bit of cornflakes and one boiled egg and toast and jam.  Coffee was vanilla flavoured and fairly disgusting.  Overall a good place to stay.
